LIZZIE SAT BY HERSELF AT THE WINDOW of the library, the moon rising on the night of her first day of classes at Hogwarts. A few moments ago, she had had a very curious visit from Elijah and Bellamy, both whispering excitedly before catching sight of her sitting in the corner, knees close to her chest and a book open on the desk in front of her. After a small bit of questioning, Lizzie had understood that they were both trying to find some books for a Potions' assignment, but she didn't think that was really what they were doing. But to be honest, she was too tired to ask any further, and just let them get the books they wanted and leave her back to her quiet.

She quite liked the library for that reason, that it was quiet. Honestly, it was probably her favourite place in Hogwarts. This was where she normally read by herself and did her homework, because while the Ravenclaw common room was practically built for students like herself, no one bothered her in the library. Sure, some other Ravenclaws walked in now and then, sometimes a Gryffindor or two and there was the Hufflepuff study club - luckily, all Slytherin students stuck to the dungeons for homework - but it was the first night after classes, nobody had that much homework just yet, so it was only her.

Sighing heavily, the feeling of the reading lamp now burning her right hand that held to the side of the book she was holding, but she ignored it because it was her only light to read the words with. After her small disagreement with Hermione, Harry and Ron, she had kept to herself for most of the evening, sitting with other Ravenclaws at dinner and heading straight to her dormitory after that. She only crept out of the Ravenclaw Tower once the clock struck eight, knowing they would all be in the Gryffindor common room and not planning on leaving by then. But as of right now, she had her mind fixed on one thing, and one thing only.
