(Kayfabe break) This is the start of a brand new NXT.
"What is this?" I said walking into the arena before the show.
"It looks like Nickelodeon just threw up over the arena." Miracle answered.
"I'm all for bright colors but this is even a bit too much for me. They gonna give someone a seizure." I joked making Miracle laugh.
"Well we still got titles to defend regardless of what the arena looks like." I smiled and gave Miracle a fist bump before we went to the locker room.

*start of the show*
My music hit and I came out to a thunderous pop. I went all around the outside of the ring showing love to all the fans, I gave a fist bump to Vic Joseph and I tried to give one to Wade Barrett but he wasn't feeling it. I grabbed a mic and entered the ring.
"NXT UNIVERSE! Things look a lot different don't they. Well as your NXT women's champion I want to welcome you to a new era of NXT. It may look different but one thing that will stay the same is me as your champion. So what I've decided to do, as stupid as it may seem, is have a open challenge. For the next 3 weeks I'll defend this title against whoever comes out of the back. So who wants a opportunity to win this championship." I tossed the mic out the ring and took my jacket off. As I was waiting in the ring Xia Li's music started playing and I couldn't help but smile a little. A one on one match against Xia is for sure gonna be a hard hitting match. As she made her way to the ring I handed my title to the ref and the match started. Instead of the usual lock up to start we started exchanging strikes. Not my best idea, it didn't take long for the strong style of Xia to get the better me and hit me with a spinning kick that dropped me right in my tracks but I managed to kick out at 2. I wasn't about to lose my title on my first defense, I fought back up to my feet. Xia threw me into the corner and charged in, I got my foot up just in time and jumped to the middle rope and hit a moonsault tornado DDT. I scrambled to a cover for a 2 count. I slid to the corner and hit a tornado enziguri, I jumped up to the top rope and pulled off my princess splash for a 3 count. My first defense was successful after a hard fought 12 minutes, I grabbed my title from the ref and posed on the top rope for a few seconds before heading to the back.
Later in the night
The last segment of the night was the InDex wedding between Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis. I decided to attend cause I kinda like Indi. I couldn't help but have this eye contact with Ember the whole time, I could tell she wanted a match for the my championship. I can't lie I been waiting for a one on one match against her. The whole wedding I was going back and forth mouthing words to Ember. Well after Indi said her vows and Dexter gave us usual thumbs up. Well Dexter ended up attacking the priest and when he did that I just ran over and tackled Ember out her chair and we started brawling. It took Johnny Gargano, Austin Theory and Cameron Grimes to break us up.
