The Truth

A week later
Rose's POV:

Leonardo and Fernando were at work and Clinton was no longer in the house.

I had begged Leonardo and Fernando to let him go for maybe an hour until they gave in and literally dragged him out of them house.

"Are you happy"

Leonardo said after literally throwing out the house.

"You should have been more gentle"

I said

Fast forward:

I was helping one of the maid, Flora, clean up a room.

"How did you do it"

She asked all of a sudden looking at my direction.

"Do what?"

I asked in a confused tone and leaned on the mop that I was using.

"How did you get the most dangerous men to fall in love with you"

she said and I didn't expect that statement.

Clinton had also asked the same thing when he was beating me and now Flora.

"What do you mean by dangerous men?"

I asked and she looked at me,shocked.

"You don't know?"

She asked and I raised an eyebrow.

"Forget about what I said"

She carried on sweeping like nothing happened and when I tried to ask about what she was talking about and what I did not know about Leonardo and Fernando, she would change the subject.

They were all hiding something from me including Leonardo and Fernando. There's no use asking the maids and guards, I will have to ask Leonardo and Fernando myself.

Leonardo and Fernando came home and I was waiting for them in the room, sitting quietly on the bed with the lights off and the curtains closed so I was basically sitting in the dark.

Leonardo slowly opened the door and peeked his head inside to find me sitting elegantly on the bed.

They both entered the room without switching on the lights.

"Princesa, is everything ok?"

Fernando asked and they both sat next to me.

I wasn't in the mood for chit chat, I went straight to the point.

"What are you guys hiding from me?"

I asked in a serious tone.

They went silent, I couldn't even hear their breaths anymore.

"Enough with the silence, start talking"

I demanded to know the truth.

Leonardo inhaled and exhaled deeply while Fernando looked away.

"So are you guys planning to tell me or am I supposed to find out from someone else?"

I asked impatiently.

"She is bound to find out, one way or another"

Fernando said to Leonardo and he nodded.

"Our company, is not a normal company that you think it is"

Leonardo said and I looked at him wondering what he meant.

Was there something wrong with their company?
Were they doing sketchy stuff?
Were they selling illegal drugs?
