It was a day off for both of you, but Alexia was doing a podcast with two Americans because her manager thought it would be a good idea to interact with more English-speaking fans.
Alexia was sitting on the sofa in her flat with her laptop on the coffee table on a zoom call and you had been laying on the sofa next to her with your legs resting on her lap. You chuckle every time you see Alexia's eyebrows furrow as she tries to work out what the two Americans were saying.
"What is this podcast called?" You ask Alexia curiously as she talks to the two Americans and then she turns to you to answer. "It's called Snacks. Could you grab me a drink, mi amor?" Alexia smiles at you and rubs your leg affectionately. "Anything for you, mi reina."
You look at her lovingly before sliding your legs off of her and going into the kitchen to make her a coffee.
"Sorry about that..." Alexia says to the other two people on the zoom call and laughs when she sees you making funny faces at her while you wait for the coffee to brew.
"It's alright. I'm guessing you have a special someone in your life then?" Sam Mewis asks her with curiosity which makes Alexia grin. "Uh...yes. Y/n is my...uh...mi amor how do you say prometida?" Alexia asks you as you pop your head out of the kitchen. "Fiancée." You say quickly before going back to making coffee and a snack for the both of you.
"Ah that's the word. Y/n is my fiancée." Alexia says with a cheeky smile on her face as she talks to Sam and Lynn. "Oh wow. I didn't know you two got engaged! Congrats!" Lynn says excitedly. "The big question is, who proposed?" Sam asks as you walk back into the living room with a tray that has snacks and two coffees on and puts them on the table.
"Well that's a funny story. I had been planning on proposing to Alexia for about three months. I wanted everything to be perfect because it's not everyday that you propose to the love of your life. We got to Camp Nou which was completely empty except for the table that I had put a letter on which was from her Dad which he had written for when she met the love of her life which was his exact words from what her Mum told me. Which for obvious reasons was quite hard for her to read. And once she read it I got down on one knee and I kept it simple and said I didn't think it was possible to love someone this much. I want to spend the rest of my life with you so would you do me the honour of becoming my wife? To which she said yes and pulled out her own ring box while laughing. She said that she was going to propose to me later that night." You said as you wiped a few of the happy tears that fell down your face as Alexia gave you a hug.
"I was supposed to answer that...it's my interview. But I love you mi amor." Alexia says giving me a quick kiss on the lips before she has to go back to the interview.
"I love you too, mi reina."
