Chapter 1: Act 1 (The King of Uruk: Gilgamesh)

"Huh it's moving"

'What do you want me to do you bastard?!'

I mentally screeched at him because one, I couldn't talk two, if I actually said that I might die. We currently are in the palace well the diamond palace to be exact because apparently there are different palaces with gemstone names that all serve a different purpose.

For example the diamond palace where we currently are is home to the Royal princesses of Uruk while the emerald palace is home the Royal princes, ruby is for the house of concubine, topaz is the house for magicians, lapis is meant to serve any foreign dignitaries or anyone visiting, while the Jade palace although with a grand name is the home of servants and the platinum palace home of the knights and of course the iron palace the home of slaves.

Now how do I know all this? Well the maids talk a lot and so does the king and where does the King stay? In the castle of Babylon which is quite grand and the central palace is used for banquets and parties.

"What a curious thing, it's almost as if she can understand me"Gilgamesh mused at the thought

'That's because I can understand you! You asshole!' I yelled at him but I couldn't because I can't talk... being a baby is pretty inconvenient.

"Gil I want know, why do you keep the child?"Enkidu asked with genuine curiosity 

"On a whim and to see where this child will end up in life with the qualities she has, red eyes that resemble jewels, blonde hair, pale skin and high amounts of mana this girl is a curiosity"

"And should she prove to no longer be interesting?"

"Than I don't really care what happens to her"the king cold words echoed throughout the room and ranged in my ears as my heart pound in my chest

'...He will kill me?...'the thought alone made me remember that I was killed by my own father and now I might be killed again.

"That is... harsh Gilgamesh"Even Enkidu knew that it was harsh to take in a child on a whim and throw her away after losing interest 

"Hm it is what it is"with that Gilgamesh stood up up and left the room and with Enkidu giving me one last sorrowful look before following behind him and with that I was left alone in this room

'Wah I hate this place! Even Claude wasn't this bad! And I want to go home to Lily, Felix, daddy and Lucas' I started to cry softly but no one was there to comfort me

'Oh wait! What happened to Lucas?! He still doesn't know I died! I hope he doesn't cause any trouble!'

"Mm I wonder what face will the princess have once she sees me?"A man with long black hair  and red eyes was walking towards the Emerald palace but once he got there the atmosphere was extremely strange and sorrowful 

"What happened here?"he questioned but he soon saw the brown haired maid with the white ribbon in her hair and he knew that was Athanasia nanny and maid 

"Lady Lillian  can you tell what has happened here? And where's the princess" he questioned but when she turned to look at him he was Suprised to her face as she was crying 

"L-Lord magician it's y-you"Lily squeaked out a reply through the tears 

"Yes but what has happened?"Lucas said trying to keep leveled headed and not annoyed

"T-The princess s-she d-died"with that Lillian York finally let out the tears but Lucas on the other hand

"...She what?..."he asked almost dangerously he hadn't processed what Lillian had said

"She's dead?"and  Lillian tried her best to explain what had happened but it fell to deaf ears as Lucas teleported out and into his tower 

He hunched over his desk and the memories of the girl he had watched grown up alongside him were coming in he soon had a hand over his face almost as if trying to keep the memories from flowing in

"I care about you because your my friend!"

How did such a girl who had punched him so furiously die in such a way? No he refused to accept this if she had died than all he had to do was find her soul and be with her once again

"Wait for me Athanasia, I will find you and when I do we both can play again under the sun"
