It was midday and the servants of the palace were currently getting ready for lunch for their princess and Enkidu was out with Gilgamesh so the young blonde was left alone with the raven haired male.

"Are you trying to become a scholar?" Lucas asked me from where he was sitting which was on rug

"No, but since I am new to this world I need to know everything about it, like what can kill me or not." My answer seemed to stupefied the boy

"You are very obsessed with not dying you know" he said like it was to the most obvious thing in the world and for me it was kind of true

"Well with my past can you blame me?" dying twice was a pretty big thing and remembering it all as well...

"True but why would you want to live forever?" For some reason he said this with his tone taking on a tone with little apathy

"Hey Lucas, I never said I want to live forever but I just want a normal life" I snapped back at him but Lucas just stared at me

"... Ah sorry... I didn't mean to do that" I scratched the back of my head in embarrassment

"It's fine besides... what was I expecting with a question like that" Lucas just shrugged as he shook his head.

...

'Ah this is awkward...' I though as a moment of silence between me and Lucas passed.

"Anyways why did you want a new sword? You could've just gotten one from your dad." Lucas was quite confused after all he had never been an expert on why people do what they do, even if said people was the girl who he had been watching growing up.

"Well... I wanted a sword that represents me or feels like it belongs to me and not just something I got from Gilgamesh." I tried my best to explain how I felt but the expression on Lucas face told me otherwise

"I don't get it... is it like that story you were always obsessed with back in Obelia, what was it called again? King Arthur Pendragon?" Lucas asked with a unconcerned face as if he really didn't care about what the story I really liked.

"Hey! That story was amazing and I would do anything to meet King Arthur!" I yelled causing Lucas to flinched at me suddenly raising my voice like that.

"Why are you yelling?" He sighed knowing there was no point in fighting me on this.

"But either way I don't understand you liking that story so much... but now that I think about it wasn't that sword of his forged that same way as your sword getting forged right now?" When Lucas had said that I could've swore I heard bells ringing.

"Wait!! Lucas what was the legend of Gilgamesh again?!" I appeared right in front of Lucas face which he looked rather Surprised.

"It was said he had all the treasures in the world... why are you asking?" A sweat seemed to drop from his face as my face was very close

"Think about it Lucas! If he had all the treasures in the world then what's to say he wouldn't have Excalibur?"

"Well maybe it's because the damn sword wasn't made around this time period?" It was clear Lucas was getting a bit agitated

"Well yes but what if Gilgamesh has what was needed to make Excalibur? After all it is said that all the treasures in the world are derived from him right?" This seemed to strike a bell in Lucas as for a moment he looked shocked

"So than by that logic... the ore you picked up was what was made for the Excalibur? And right now your currently getting it forged way earlier in the past than it should've been..." though he said that I couldn't understand it at all.

"How about this...let's just say that I might've accidentally recreated Excalibur and maybe changed the legend of King Arthur..." Ah yes I made a mess in history this time which made me nervous

"Don't get so worried over this, I'm sure the stupid king's legend will still happen even if the sword was forged long before his kingdom even existed." Somehow this mage still had a way of making me laugh with his sass

'Yea I'm sure your right' it did make me feel a little better knowing that I might've not messed up everything and on the plus side I may get a cool sword from the legends

"Besides... It's not like that Brat is even alive so it technically means the sword doesn't belong to him." The way this mage manages to say things so nonchalantly makes me jealous after all Lucas never really had to watch what he would say unless in front of people

"Hey... your making that face, it means your thinking of something weird."

"No I'm not!" I immediately snapped back but his smug face told me he wasn't convinced though in that moment the door opened revealing Enkidu

"Hello you two, I trust nothing is happening here." The green haired male walked up to the both of us as it meant now we had to go back to being children again.

"Of course nothing is happening here Enkidu... but why are you here? Did something happen?" I asked rather nervously since Enkidu wasn't suppose to come for a while.

"Well yes something did happen... it involves your sword as it has been forged and is here." It took me a moment to process what he had just said but when I did my face broke into a wide grin.

"Really?!" I jumped up onto my feet and ran to where he was

"can I see it?!"

"Sure you can." He offered me a kind smile but than I thought of Lucas

"Can Lucas come too?" I asked as I turned my head to look at him

"I do not see why he can't so let us go." Great! I grabbed Lucas hand and we all made our way to the audience hall where Gilgamesh is.

When we got there the big golden doors that were opened usually were closed this time meaning he wasn't expecting much today but either way Enkidu opened to the door leading to the hall...
