5 Years Later~~~

' I managed to survive for 5 years and now I'm old enough to run on my own two feet'

"—Ah Athanasia slow down, you'll trip and fall if you run like that" a familiar voice ranged in my head snapping me out of my inner monologue

"Ah! Sorry! Uncle Enkidu!" I turned my head to the green haired man who hasn't changed at all in the past three years

"That's alright, it would be bad if you got hurt" he said with a simple smile that was rather Angelic

"Now where are you headed off to?"

"To go to the garden!"

"You really love the garden in the castle of Babylon"

"Yea! It's superrr pretty! There" I replied back to Enkidu with a childish smile

'And it's convenient to get away from Gilgamesh and the other servants'

It turns some of the servants don't really like me, I mean I'm the child of a maid that Gilgamesh has decided to not kill but take in rather which was unusual already but they don't even try to hide it but the maids in diamond palace that serve me directly would never say that to my face or the servants in the Castle of Babylon because it's where Gilgamesh lives and provoking his wrath is akin to having a death sentence.

—————

"We're here athanasia now you can play to you heart's content" As Enkidu set me down I quickly scanned the area for an area that is hard to see from the entrance and I found it and so I darted to that area in particular.

"My your full of energy today"

"Sorry! Uncle I just want to see what's over here!" I quickly made an excuse for my behavior

"It's alright, I believe we should all do what we want"

'Ahh!! Enkidu is best! I wish he was my father instead!' I mentally cried over how nice he was dispite the fact he was ordered by Gilgamesh to take care of me...

Even so after the little interaction between me and Enkidu he let me run around the gardens while keeping an eye on me. Not gonna lie the garden is gorgeous and I spent my time running around and playing until my current problem came back to haunt me...

"So this is where you've been" a cocky, self-centered voice rang throughout the garden and for a moment everything was silent...

"Hello Gil, have are you on break? I know you haven't finished your work since it's only mid-day" Enkidu didn't seem fazed by Gilgamesh presence whatsoever but then again they were best friends.

"Do not remind me I have to go back to work after my 'break'" Gilgamesh retorted back as he walked towards me

'Ahh so he really is trying shirk his job— And why is he coming towards me?!'

"Even so as the king of Uruk you shouldn't try to get out of your job" Gilgamesh paid no mind to Enkidu words as he knelt down before me and grabbed me by my waist and lifted me up

'Ack! Put me down———No wait! Don't look at me like that! I guess I have no choice!!'

"Daddy! I missed you!!" I reached out my arms for Gilgamesh and for a moment he looked rather shocked and so did Enkidu because this is the first time I called Gilgamesh my dad

"Mmm I almost assumed you were afraid of me seeing how you never called me your dad" for some reason Gilgamesh looked a little sad before arrogance began to set back into his eyes

"Took you a long time mongrel"

'Yes! I am afraid of you!! Also what kind of father calls their child a mongrel?!!' I irked at this man's attitude but alas like many things things in my life I cannot show or tell him this

"Daddy, What's a mongrel?? You always say that?" I innocently asked hoping to hide my irritation

"A mongrel means—"

"—it means nothing athanasia, it's something you don't need to know right now" Enkidu interjected before Gilgamesh could finish his explanation.

Gilgamesh gave him a look but Enkidu ignored it and walked up to us to take me out of his arms except.

"Not another step Enkidu" Gilgamesh warned which instantly froze both of us

"What do you mean?"

"Athanasia is coming with me" he pulled me closer to his chest as my legs naturally by instinct wrapped around his waist  and Gilgamesh wrapped his arms around back and bum to keep me in a stable position.

"Are you sure Gil? I can always carry her" even Enkidu was unsure by this sudden development and leaving me in Gilgamesh arms

'Yes please let Enkidu carry me, at least that way I don't have to worry about dying' I hesitantly wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face in his neck.

Due to my position I couldn't see Gilgamesh eyes widening slightly before going back to normal

"Are you saying I can't handle a child?"

"No I just meant that you usually do not hold children in fact I have never even seen you talk to one on your own free will." The sentence got me confused

'Huh? Does that mean Gilgamesh doesn't like children?' I thought to Enkidu statement but couldn't think of an answer

"What nonsense." With that Gilgamesh walks away with me in his arms and Enkidu following behind us.

'How weird, it so warm in Gilgamesh arms it... makes me feel... sleepy.' My consciousness began to slip as Gilgamesh walked with me.

'It feels like daddy...' and with that I fell asleep.

...

"Daddy! I missed you!!" A young cheerful young voice rang throughout the garden

"I told you not to run Otherwise you'll fall down" contrast to the small voice a deep one was also heard.

"Daddy, up, up" the young girl held her arms up for the man to pick her up to which he did

"The princess is... behaving a lot like raven" a guard with red hair pointed out

"Heh, is Athy cute as raven?"

"I believe the princess is the cutest girl in whole world"the male guard said back with a genuine smile

"Enough Felix you talk too much, take 10 steps back..."

"Eh? Your majesty?"

"You heard me"and with that the guard took 10 steps back but the girl in her fathers arms simple kicked her feet around and smiling wide as she nuzzled into neck
