When we got there the big golden doors that were opened usually were closed this time meaning he wasn't expecting much today but either way Enkidu opened to the door leading to the hall...

—————

When the doors opened it showed Gilgamesh sitting on his throne in a relaxed position with a stone tablet in his hand probably reading through it.

'Not gonna lie he is very handsome...' I had to keep this thought to myself to avoid any embarrassing moments and any teasing from Lucas.

'Hmm? That is..." my eyes soon shifted to a woman next to Gilgamesh who was dressed in sea-green long dress that went all the way down to her feet and stopped right over her ankles. She was also wearing a white scarf over her head covering most of her brownish hair with a veil over her nose and mouth.

'Oh it's Siduri' as Gilgamesh daughter I was naturally familiar with her and she was a nice woman who faithfully served my father which in turn would also assist me at times.

"Good your here— Why is he here?" Gilgamesh turned his attention to us but quickly zeroed in on Lucas who only smiled and bowed

"Greetings my king" Lucas said nothing further than that because he was waiting for me to take over

"I wanted him to be here dad." Gilgamesh only quirked an eyebrow but said nothing and simply raised his hand signaling to Siduri to come and take the tablet out of his hands which she did however she also left the room leaving me, Lucas, Enkidu and Gilgamesh

"Your sword is ready" The blonde man said as he got up and walked towards me but despite him saying that I didn't see him carry anything

"Where is it tho?" I tried to look behind him to see if it was there but it wasn't

"Right here..." suddenly the air started to vibrate as the room was filled with a golden color apparently Gilgamesh had opened his portal and out came a item that was covered with cloth and with rope tied to keep the cloth secure.

'Judging from the sharp I can only guess that's my sword' Soon the time fell onto the king's hand as he soon handed it over to me

"Well princess what are you waiting for?" Lucas asked clearly he was also interested

"Alright I'm doing it!" I didn't like that he was trying to rush me but I knew why.

And so I untied the rope and moved the cloth to show a beautifully crafted sheathed sword that looked very distinct it looked like something you'd find in Great Britain or back in Obelia

'Woah— I'm pretty sure this is what Excalibur would look like...' I was pretty amazed which was a contrast to Enkidu (please read at the authors note before you decide to come for me)

"Hmm... why does the sword look very... different?" The green haired male didn't know how to describe

"Your right it does look strange and not like something you will find in Uruk" Gilgamesh put a hand to chin while the other rested on his hip

"The sword definitely makes you stand out princess." the raven haired 'boy' added

"But at least this way when people look at the sword they'll know it's mine." Ha not really...

"...Hey wait, where is grandma?" I asked realizing she wasn't here even though she seemed to want to be here to witness the moment.

"Mother can't maintain her form for long in the human world without a vessel." Dad added so casually but it got me thinking...

'Mmm I've been hearing them saying stuff like that but I don't really understand' just when I was about to ask someone cut me off

"It's alright Athanasia, I'm sure she'll see it eventually but more importantly you should learn how to use it." Enkidu intercepted my comment before I could ask it

"Yes, lest you should injure yourself." Lucas commented slyly and I could tell something was up

"What do you mean?" I narrowed my eyes at him almost afraid to know

"Oh nothing except that the princess now has a sword... she might cause more destruction than good." Lucas smiled almost terrifyingly and it angered me

"Ehhh?! Me why would I destroy anything?" Perhaps I was a little to close to stab him with my new sword

"You have issues..." the mage replied nonchalantly

"I find it alright if she does destroy things after all she is my daughter." Gilgamesh added defending his child

"Gil no you shouldn't encourage such behavior especially a princess." Enkidu chastised Gilgamesh for allowing such behavior from his daughter

"Why not? It's better if she has some freedom in her life to do as she pleases."

"Yes but not by encouraging her to destroy things and maybe even hurting other people all because she is your kid." It seemed like the adults were getting into a fight as me and Lucas just watched helplessly

"What are you? My mother? To tell me how to raise my child?" Gilgamesh was growing tired of this argument as he rarely (by that it actually means never) enjoyed it when people told him what to do

"In a way I have to be, seeing at what you've done to her actual mother." And with that the whole room went silent because the topic of my birth mother has never been discussed or even brought up

'What do I do?' I mentally panicked at the thought of Gilgamesh getting upset which was usually not a good thing for anyone really but... at that moment a angel appeared...

"Your majesty I'm sorry to interrupt but there are several reports that came in that require your attention" Siduri came in, politely bowing to us as she stated her business and it worked well in diffusing the situation

"I will hear them shortly and as for you three..."

"We will head back now since athanasia got what she needed" Enkidu said as he placed a hand on my shoulder and Lucas as well

"Make sure she doesn't hurt herself with that" the blonde king said as he turned away to walk towards his throne

"More like don't hurt other people with it" Lucas had to get that last remark in

"Oh shut up!" I quickly reached for his long hair and yanked it

"Oww!!" He yelled out but before anything else can happen

"Athanasia!" Enkidu pulled Lucas hair out of my hand

"That's my kid" meanwhile Gilgamesh had a proud look on his face watching the interaction

"I must say your majesty I am rather worried about the behavior your allowing..." Siduri who was watching the whole thing unfold before her

"Why not? At least this makes her interesting"

Authors Note

Sorry this took so long but it was testing week for me and it has generally crazy but I think now I can start working on this book again.

Also a note regarding why I gave Athanasia Excalibur is because I thought it would be interesting and because I thought it would cool if archer Gilgamesh meet saber and recognizes her sword so I may add Fate/Stay Night after.
