You and I, both are helplessly stuck
In a valley of lies with no living luck
A place where residents lies everyday
Values, guilt, humanity all gone astray
You and I, struggle to untangle from
The webs of lies spread all around us
Can't believe all, only selected some
How to trust when they always act sus
You and I, fenced by many living being
Who value money, wealth than morals
Willing to betray anyone and everything
Get richer, famous and earn more laurels
You and I, drown in sea of fake promises
Capture us like how shark gets fishes
People who act like they care but don't
Can answer your frantic cries but won't
You and I, we both have to act careful
A dangerous world of ambitious people
Where honesty is no longer powerful
And innocents are considered gullible
