The pull of darkness just gets stronger
Open my eyes to spot a black abyss
Why do I see them, until how longer?
Peace, hope and happiness at miss
The voices say some interesting things
Did you see that? how you have no one?
Turmoil, confusion that's what it brings
That isn't true, for I must have someone
Trust? it's resting on a shaking balance
Been stumbling around since a while
Calm, can't let others know in a glance
Feels easier to laugh and fake a smile
Should be grateful for all that I have
For many others have it harder than I
But I don't feel satisfied, more I crave
Can only question myself, just why?
This poem seems to be my refuge now
I don't hear or feel them when I write
The cloudless sky looks stunning, wow
Hope I can have a calm and silent night
