 As an invisible periphery separates

Can't get through the splendid gates

Hope leaves already serious hands

No reversal possible by magic wands

Two remarkably different ways of living

One of them advancing and prospering

The other's home filled with suffering

Yet under the same Sun both walking

Clinking chains hold back all passion

Helplessly gaze at the majestic mansion

The master and his clan dined merrily

His servants ate a slice of bread, barely

Forced to stay silent, can't talk for life

Instructions given by the master's wife

Dreams lay down still, withering slowly

While the master's family lived happily

The servants toiled day in and day out

Without a frown, an objection or a pout

For they had accepted their terrible fate

For things to change, it was just too late
