Tw: Trouble with eating

Mary struggled at something too basic

Something people like to do everyday

Felt ashamed of her constant cravings

She couldn't believe that she fell prey

Negative thoughts filled her whenever

She was offered something to eat up

Mind comparing calories and weight

Was unable to have more than a cup

Can't eat less or her mother will know

So she came up with the worst option

Throw up what she had after the meal

Could eat everything without tension

Biggest trigger was her favorite snack

Loved chocolates more than anything

But diets meant no eating chocolates

So she let it out after tasting the thing

Her mind kept urging her that its right

Eat so much, how will you lose weight?

Not dieting if you can't restrict appetite

Purge out what you ate, accept the fate

Deep down, she knew its not healthy

She had read about its effects before

Back then she thought, I would never

Now, was doing the exact same chore

Addicted to the feeling of being hungry

Mind telling its good, worth in the end

Was becoming a regular habit by now

Stuck in a path she couldn't transcend

Maybe others didn't know where to stop

But she knew how to, or so she thought

She was not holding the steering of car

In endless cycle of she was now caught

Not the story of just one girl named Mary

Lot of others are going through the same

If you doubt, subtly try to help them out

Dieting by starving, purging is a bad aim

Don't pressure them to eat a lot suddenly

Slowly help them be more comfortable

As self acceptance is the most important

The person has to realize that its trouble
