Florida Headcannons

Florida has ADHD

# Florida and Louisiana own and take care of gators (specifically 25). Also he calls them swamp cats sometimes.

When Florida was born he was ignored by his father (Spain) so he would go into the swamps and the woods. There he met the gators, who raised him and kept him entertained. But as time went on he wanted some sort of human connection so he decided to try and talk to Spain. Spain initially ignored him until Florida started to act chaotic, then Spain started to pay attention. Florida started to act crazy because he was going insane from being so alone.

After Florida was given over to the Gov as an extra part of their treaty, he got a little better and was acting chaotic out of loneliness but he did start to do it for attention. Louisiana became his friend out of a shared experience of not speaking English and being abandoned by their original parent. Florida continued being chaotic after hanging out with Louisiana because he actually enjoyed just being chaotic for the sake of it beyond just getting attention. The chaos reminded him of his first family and home with the gators in the swamps. (P.S. Florida is not self aware of any of these feelings and reasons for why he is the way that he is. His brain is too small for that)

Florida has developmental setbacks from the neglect when he was younger

Florida loves Georgia's peach pie and often steals some or adds some cocaine into the pie filling.

Some people cannot understand Louisiana's accent, especially people in the past, so Florida translates. Louisiana helps Florida read and Florida speaks for Louisiana.

Florida is legally not allowed to drive

Florida has been arrested over 28 times (½ for DUIs)
