Note: Sorry if I repeat headcannons. I'm losing track :/

Texas has a cow plush named Moo Moo from when he was younger and he still has it today. He is very protective of the plush.

Texas was the consequence of a one night stand between Mexico [*Mexico is a woman] and the US a week after Mexico got independence.

Texas is the eldest, then California is the middle child, and Arizona and New Mexico are the youngest and are twins

Texas was a trouble child

When Texas was a child, he had hallucinations of people attacking him however now he just has a separate personality (Austin). This is part of the reason why he carries a gun.

Texas shared a bedroom with Coahuila when he lived with Mexico

Mexico tries to come back to Texas and make up with him but every time Texas shuts him out because he's scared of getting hurt again

Texas powers his own room with his own natural gas

Texas has a hidden shrine committed to HEB, Whataburger, and Buccees

Texas is technologically inept

Texas sometimes hosts church services on Sundays

Texas measures length in time

Gov always uses Texas as the example of a strong independent man which hypes Texas's ego even more

Gov and Texas have a closer relationship than most other states because he was one of the few to join on his own accord not as a result of a purchase or war agreement

Texas is very cocky but also gets flustered easily when others compliment him. He always hypes himself up in order to feel more confident and to make up for the fact that he didn't have that much parental support as a child therefore he is still uncomfortable with love.

As a child, Texas really wanted a parent that would be there for him while still allowing him to be independent. This is why Texas turned from Mexico to the US and then to the Confederate States of America. Texas felt that the US was infringing on his rights so he left. After the Civil War, he gave up on finding someone else to be his parental figure but then he eventually earned his father's love through his resources and financial contribution and influence to the country.

Texas is still a bit jealous of California's success and how Gov focuses more on him.

Texas gets really aggressive when he gets drunk
