Chapter 23

India's POV-

I didn't know how to feel. I was so excited but so scared, i couldn't believe me and Trey were going to finally try make this work! I didn't know how i felt about Josiah. I really thought it would be us forever but it's life isn't it? I had to move on at some point. I'll always love Jojo but maybe it's just not the right time.

" Are you getting into the uber or not?" the driver said snapping me and Trey out of our kiss

"No she's not, sorry and thank you" Trey said whilst closing the door

"Come i'll take you home babygirl" he said whilst intertwining his fingers into mine as i blushed

i let out a little giggle

"you're so cute when you're shy" Trey said whilst laughing

"Who said i'm shy Trey?" i smirked

"Oh you're not shy babe? hmm whatever you say  now get your ass in the car" he said as he held the door open for me

"Hm i likey" i said whilst i got into the car and watched him get to his side

He let me be on the aux in the car and we had a blast. We spoke a lot about strategy's and meetings we had coming up, my identity was never to be revealed until i'm at a certain age/ if i want too. It's for safety reasons and i think thats for the best if i'm honest with you! i'm only 16 remember, well i'm turning 17 soon but yeah. We got to my house and Josiah was sitting at the steps. Trey came and opened the door for me.

"Yo you good?" Trey asked him and spudded him

"Yeah i just need to talk to India quickly if that's calm" Josiah responded

"Yeah do your ting bro, safe and bye babygirl i'll call you later?" Trey said and pulled me into a hug

"Bye Trey, let me know when you get home okay?" i said whilst he released me from the hug

"alright that's cool" he said and got in his car and drove away, i turned my attention back to
Josiah

"Josiah are you okay?" I asked

"Are you dating him?" Josiah asked

"No, well we haven't put a title on it" i shyly said

"Oh, well okay i'm glad you're happy India" He said

"Thank you Josiah i appreciate that a lot, is that all you wanted to know" i said

"Yeah that's it Inds, i hope we can still be friends?" he asked

"I hope so too Jojo" i said as a smile lit up on his face

"cool, i guess i'll see you around?" he said

"i'll see you around" i said as he walked away to his house

I walked into the house and it smelt so delicious!
My mum and Aunt where in the kitchen cooking and my dad and uncle were watching football. My little cousins were running around the house.
"Hi everyone!" I said and they all greeted me back

" Hi Inds!" Isha and Iyanna both said

"Hi girls!" i said whilst hugging them

"Where's your son Auntie?" i asked

"He's out with his friends sorry girl he did not want to come" she said whilst laughing

"He's going to get a strongly worded message from me" i said laughing
