Josiah's POV:
After school
I walked up to my house and looked at India's house , Trey's car was there. Kinda made me upset what if they are together. As I took out my keys , India's door opened and Trey came out and India stayed by the door.
"I'll be back later" he said to her
"Treyyy I don't want you to go" she said as she held onto his arm
"I won't be long okay , give me 2 hours" he said
"fine bye Trey , bring me food when you come back" she said
"Oh yo Josiah you good?" Trey said and I turned my head to face him and India looked out her door and tried to give me a small smile
"Yo , yeah I'm good how about you?" I asked
"I'm good man" he said as he jogged to his car and waved bye
I walked inside my house and my mum came running to give me a hug.
"Hi sweetie how was your first day at college?" She said after attacking me with kisses
"It was okay mum , Nothing special" I asked
"How did it go ... seeing India?" She asked
"It was fine I guess but she didn't hang out with us , people kept asking questions about us and I think she got fed up" I sighed
"You do know that you guys breaking up probably hurt her even more because I know she's in love with you" she patted my back
"Mum , Nah I don't think she's in love with me , too much happened If she was in love with me she wouldn't have broke up with me"
"Baby , sometimes people have to put themselves first she needed to do that because you too were always joint by the hip she needed some space" she pulled me close
"But I still love her and my heart hurts when I see her" I felt like such a baby
"Baby that's normal , but if you want her back you've gotta give her time which you've done so maybe now you can try talking to her" she said
"What if she's dating Trey now? What do I do?"
"Baby you can't do anything about that , if she is then that's her choice she needed something new and if he makes her happy then baby you have to be happy for her"
"Mum It was meant to be me and India forever" I said
"Yes baby I know but life throws at you what it wants , I'm sure you'll both get back together and this time hopefully no lies because that's what's teared you apart"
"I appreciate you mum , I love you" I said
"I love you too my baby boy" she said and kissed my cheek
India's POV:
Trey came back as promised and we had just finished working on some strategies to do with South London. Now we were laying on my bed watching ''Suits' . I was thinking about me and Josiah seeing him today just had me thinking about everything. But I don't know I feel content right now with my life.
