Uncle's Love

Pluem POV

I currently sat on the children's mat beside the playpen fiddling with my phone. Dad had called reminding me of fetching Papa at the airport a few hours later because he can't his schedule coincides with Pa's arrival, so I had to fetch him after work.

"That Peng?"- Off

Uncle Off no slash because he doesn't want to be called an uncle by me. P'Off who lay on the donkey toy beside me came smiling.

"Yes Phi, he asked me to fetch Pa at the airport he will be arriving about, 3 hours from now" - Pluem

As I checked my wristwatch. Uncle Off I mean Phi Off, is a close friend not close but Bffs with my parents.

"Are you calling me an uncle on your mind, I'm going to smack your head Pluem Purim!"- Off

He said but he was laughing, I think there is never a day that P'Off was serious.

"Sorry Phi!"- Pluem

I saluted at him.

"They're much better..." - Off

He patted me on my head and ruffled my hair.

"You do, really look like him.." - Off

He mumbled and I can't quite catch everything else he said while staring at me.

"What Phi?"- Pluem

"Nah, I said if you want I can take you to the airport. Let's get your Pa" - Off

"But aren't you busy Phi?"- Pluem

"Naaahh got nothing to might as well see an old friend..hahaha" - Off

"You just met them last week though" - Pluem

"Kiddo do you have a car?"- Off

"No, I was going to get Nong Polar at home before going" - Pluem

"Oh, did your Pa give it to you already?"- Pluem

"Yeah, he did because he got a new one. But he still wants me to take great care of it. I didn't bring it with me today because I thought I'd hang out with some friends "- Pluem

"Oh I see, why not use my car? So you won't have to go home then I'll just drop you guys off. Much convenient than going back and forth" - Off

"Thanks, Uncle!!"- Pluem

I was smacked in the head while I grinned at Phi' Off.

"You... Bratt..."- Off

Playfully ruffling my hair and pinching my cheeks. Phi' Off is so hyper, he is charming and funny, I wonder why up to this day he is still single. He's not ugly he is handsome and rich as well, so why single?

"Phi? Why are you still single?"- Pluem

"Kiddo why are you asking me? Are you going to set me up with someone?"- Off

"No, I was just curious... You don't seem interested? Do you have someone you like?"- Pluem

"Ahh, that... I don't have time I guess" -Off

He just shrugged me off until we were called for work again.
After a few more hours and we were done he called me at the parking lot. So we went our way to the airport. But I was still curious.

"So aren't you going to tell me Phi?"- Pluem

" About what?"- Off

"Why are you still single?"- Pluem

"Why are you curious are you in love?"- Off

"Nah, I mean you can settle in. You're getting old"- Pluem
