You wake up and it's still dark out, you check the clock and see that it's 4 AM. Only 2 hours until you have to pick up drista so you decide to just get up now to save Dream the pain of having to wake you up. You scroll on your phone before going downstairs to make food, you open the fridge and grab some Dino nuggets (a/n if ur a vegan/vegetarian or u just don't like chicken nuggets pretend ur eating smth else) You pop them in the microwave and stare at the door waiting for them to be done. You open it right before it dings and you take out the food, you sit at the island and start eating. "Y/n what are you doing up?" A voice says "AHH WHAT THE FRICK-" You jump and see that it's quackity "YOU SCARED ME YOU TURD-" You shout at him "all I did was talk-" he laughs "frick you" you say laughing "anyway, what are you doing up y/n-" he says repeating his question "I woke up, wbu?" You say "ah, I just couldn't sleep-" He says "pfft L" you laugh "hey now-" he responds
You joke around for a bit and then you go upstairs. It's about 5:30 right now and you decide to listen to music, quackity joins you and you vibe together. The playlist goes on for a while and then a slow song comes on, quackity does a fake little bow "May I have this dance?" He says reaching his hand out "I thought you'd never ask." You giggle and grab his hand. You 2 start ballroom dancing to the song. You look down at him and you 2 make eye contact and a huge smile appears on both of your faces, when you hear the door open "Y/n we have to get ready to-" he sees you two. You seperate from quackity and pause the music "Uhm y/n can I speak to you in the hall for a second?" He says "Uh sure, one second Alex." Crap- I'm in trouble aren't I-
"y/n does George know?" He asks "Hm? Know what?" You make a confused face "about you and Alex-" he says "what-" you get cut off "You aren't in trouble y/n I won't tell George but keeping it secret is just gonna make things worse. You know how he feels about you dating, if he finds out about this from anyone but you he's gonna be livid." He whispers "Dream. We aren't dating, and even if we were I'm 18. George doesn't need to know who I date alright? Thank you for not telling him but there's nothing happening right now, Alex doesn't even like me like that." You say "Alright then, get ready to go we leave in 5 minutes." He goes downstairs
You walk back into the room and tell quackity he needs to get out so you can change. You're looking through your closet and you grab a dream hoodie with some black pants. You go downstairs to get in the car and it turns out quackity is coming with, you buckle yourself in and dream starts to drive. You messaged drista

The car pulls into the airport parking lot and you run in to find drista, not wanting to get separated you and Quackity hold hands. You try to hold dreams hand too so that you can all stick together but he won't let you "Dream please-" You say "No- I'm over 6 foot you'll be able to spot me from the crowd you don't need to hold my hand-" he laughs "Clay. Hold. My. Hand. Now." You say in a serious tone staring at him, he looks horrified "did you just use my actual name- oh s- ur serious rn-" he said grabbing your hand "don't do that ever again its weird-" he says laughing "As long as you don't p-ss me off I won't have to" you smile at him before scanning the crowd to find drista. You look around when suddenly dream starts speedrunning (😏) towards a random girl, we get over there and her face lights up "Y/N! CLAY!" She hugs both of us and then we make our way to the car.
We get to the car and you sit in between her and Quackity, it's about 7 AM now and you're super tired. You talk Dristas ear off before yawning like 5 times in a row "Y/n you look tired- If you need to you can sleep. I'm sure Drista doesn't mind, she's probably tired as well considering it was like 2 AM her time." Quackity says "No I have to stay awake cause I wanna hang out with her she's only here for like 2 weeks I can't sleep on her first day-" You say "Y/N don't sleep deprive urself, I'm jetlagged so I'd probably be sleeping a lot today anyways." Drista says putting her hand on your shoulder "Its easier to sleep in the car so you hopefully won't be as tired getting home" she says resting her head on the car door, quackity slightly angles his torso towards you so you can rest. You lay your head on him and he lays his jacket over you like a blanket and wraps his arms around you so that it stays, you felt safe and protected in his arms and it wasn't long before you dozed off.
