Markovna's POV
"And then... She just kinda kissed me." I whispered, leaning back against the head board of my bed.
Laurente nodded her head slowly. "Jesus, you get one abortion and suddenly all the bitches want you." She paused. "How come I don't get no bitches?"
"Because you're ugly?" I laugh, receiving a shove from my sister.
Laurente looks at the ground, seriousness crossing her face. "I think I'm in love, actually."
My eyes widen in surprise. "Laurente Kozhurov? In love?"
Laurente nods slowly. "Yeah, but she already has a girlfriend..."
"Well break them up!"
"Markovna, are you fucking kidding me? She'd hate me!"
"Who?"
"The girl I love." She replied.
I laughed. "Oh, so you do love her!"
"No!"
"Laurente's in love! Laurente's in love!"
"Shut up!" Laurente pushed me off the bed. I landed with my feet in the air, still hysterically laughing.
"I haven't been in love since... You know..."
I nodded. Whenever that accident pops up in my mind, I just wanna die.
"I haven't been in love since..."
"You still love Corey."
"Shut up Laurente, I don't." I heavily sighed in frustration.
Laurente nodded, laying back. "Do so."
"So not."
"Fine, you don't love him."
"But I do." Oh fuck.
"I KNEW IT!" Laurente yelled, jumping off my bed. She looked at me in confusion. "Then why did you get an abortion?"
"Laurente, face the facts. Having that baby could've killed me! And besides, it's too late to undo what's been done." I sighed again.
Laurente's face fell as she walked over to the door. "I wish that you would've kept the baby. I actually had something to look forward to." And then she left.
"I could've died!" I yelled. No reply.
Secretly, I wanted a baby. And not just someone's baby. Corey Haim's baby. I want him so bad.
