'Morning.' Rosa says to me, as I enter the kitchen.

'Morning.' I say to her.

'How was your sleep?' She asks.

I shrug. 'It was okay.'

Axcel didn't leave the house till like one, and I didn't fall asleep till three, so I only got five hours sleep.

I have a feeling that although my sleep was okay, today will not be.

She smiles at me, and slides a white box down the counter. 'You got post.' She says.

I take, open it and tip out the contents.

A memory stick, clatters down onto the counter, and I stare at it in confusion.

Axcel said the guy who was delivering these was dead, so how am I still getting them?

Also, what on earth could be on this memory stick that I haven't seen before?

'When did you get this?' I ask Rosa.

'Oh this morning.' She says.

'Who gave it to you?'

'Um, the postman.' She pauses. 'It was a new postman though, not the usual one.'

'The postman?'

'Yeah, a young man comes ever so often with parcels for you.' She says. 'Is that not what he's supposed to do?'

'We don't have a postman Rosa, all the post goes through headquarters to be checked.'

Rosa's face falls, and her eyes widen.

'Oh no, oh no-'

'Rosa, it's fine, don't worry. I'll deal with it.' I say.

Axcel's failed again.

I won't be dealing with it. Axcel will, because he is still yet to prove to me that he can actually do his job.

'I'll be back.' I say, leaving the kitchen.

I run up the stairs, to my office, and push the memory stick into my laptop.

A notification appears, and I click on it.

A video application appears, and I press play.

It's the same angle I've already seen, but after about three seconds it zooms in on the man's face.

It's blurry at first, and then it clears.

The face in the video is familiar.

Very familiar.

It almost looks like... Diego.

But it can't be.

Why would he help me look for the killer, if the killer is him?

The video shifts slightly, and I watch as he smirks.

That's Diego.

I know that smirk anywhere.

I pull the memory stick out of the computer, and push back my chair.

It can't be Diego.

Why would he kill Seb?

I pull the pictures out from my draw, and line them up next to each other.

The more I look at them, the more I see it.

'Alexis?' Someone says from the door.

I look up to see Diego stood there, with his hands in his pockets.

How could he?

I stare at him.

'Are you okay?' He asks me slowly.

What happens if he finds out that I know?

What if he kills me?

I take a deep breath. 'Yeah I'm fine.'

'You sure?' He asks coming closer.

I nod. 'Yeah.' I say.

He picks up one of the photos, and stares at it.

'You know, maybe you should give this a rest for a while.'

'What do you mean?' I ask him.

'Maybe finding Sebastian's killer isn't good for you, your child's downstairs, and you're up here looking at this stuff.'

'What are you saying?'

'Just leave it alone.' He says, dropping the picture down onto my desk. 'Maybe this stuff is a red herring.'

'What if it's not. What if they already told me who the killer is?' I snap.

His eyes narrow. 'Who is it?' He asks.

Should I tell him I know?

What if it is a red herring?

What if it's not true?

I shake my head. 'Don't worry.'

'No, Alexis, tell me.'

'No, I don't know who it is.' I say.

He walks around the desk, and stands in front of me.

'Okay.' He says, before leaning, to kiss me.

I turn my face, so his kiss lands on my cheek.

He steps back, and I try to walk out, but he grabs my arm.

'Alexis, what's wrong?' He asks.

He's staring into my eyes, like he's trying to find the answer to his question, before I've replied.

'Nothing-'

'Don't lie.'

'Diego I'm not lying, let go of me.'

He drops my arm

'Sorry.' He says.

What if it's not him?

He rubs the back of his neck. 'Just don't jump to any conclusions.'
