[Eclipses pov]

I walked past the lake on the way home.
     I'm not sure why.
But as I made my way through the dewy grass, my foot hit something that felt like glass.
I knelt down to inspect it.

A faded blue pair of glasses.
Folded up neatly, as if the owner would come to back retrieve them in a matter of time.
Except they wouldn't at all.

I picked them up, and immediately recognised the crescent moons imprinted on the sides.

Lunars glasses.

I looked back over to the small lake.
There were plants that grew by the side of it, in the soft soil. A small patch of them, their roots were torn and mangled. Stained red.
As if somebody had been gripping them, before they fell into the black abyss.

The water glowered in the light of the rising sun.
