Chapter 56 - Another kind of anger

 Kazuha's POV

 "Kazuha? What happened? Did the fatui- Huh? There is nothing here."

 "Good to see you too."

 Seeing that there was no danger, she calmed down, selling in my lap.

 "Why did you call? I thought I told you that-"

 "I should call you if I'm in desperate need of help, I know."

 "So, why am I here, on a peaceful night in the middle of nowhere?"

 Hahaha...

 "I assume you know that Kuni is the shogun's son?"

 She flinched.

 As I thought. She knew already.

 "Who told you?"

 "Lady Makoto. I'm pretty sure that she didn't mean to do so."

 From the way she stopped talking the second time and that panicked expression on her face...

 "Damn archons. Can't do anything right." She mumbled in an annoyed voice.

 "She isn't around now, is she?" I never know for sure.

 "No, she's not. And she won't be till I leave."

 So she did something. Good to know.

 "So, how do you feel?"

 How do I feel?

 "I'm not sure."

 A giant bomb was dropped on me. How should I feel?

 "You know that your little friend despises Raiden Ei, don't you?"

 I know that he dislikes the shogun quite a lot, but...

 "Despise?"

 "He hates her to the core. That's why he wants the gnosis. He believes he will finally feel some satisfaction if he defeats her."

 "But, why would he hate her so much?"
