Sasuke lay still, his gaze fixed on the ceiling. He knew he needed to get up and do something productive. Ever since the memorial service in Washington, he had immersed himself in extensive research on gates, magical beasts, hunters, and magical energy. His genius intellect allowed him to gather a vast amount of information in a short span of time.

But now, Sasuke found himself at a crossroads. Opening the first gate had resulted in passive absorption of mana, rendering meditation futile. With each step he took, he could feel the energy pulsating within him.

Deciding it was time to face the day, Sasuke rose from his bed and made his way to the bathroom. The sound of running water filled the room as he splashed his face and caught a glimpse of his reflection in the mirror.

A resonating sound emanated from Sasuke as he channeled his mana, a dark purple aura enveloping his body. Observing the spectacle, he marveled at the visibility of magical energy compared to chakra.

"Magical energy is truly striking, even with just a fraction released," Sasuke muttered to himself.

He couldn't help but notice the familiarity of his mana aura. "It bears a resemblance to when I summoned Susanoo, but there have been changes in my right eye as well." He gently touched the area around his right eye, witnessing the transformation of his sclera turning black while his irises and pupils glowed with a radiant white.

Shrugging off the alteration, Sasuke grabbed a towel and dried his face. Hunger pangs beckoned him to the kitchen, where he aimed to have a light breakfast. Retrieving cereal from a drawer and milk from the fridge, he mixed them in a bowl.

As he turned on the television in the kitchen, Sasuke was met with a heated dispute between sources, each denying the other's claims. Ever since the raid on Kamish, he had become the talk of the world, both celebrated for defeating magical beasts and criticized for his delayed intervention.

Unfazed by the media's conflicting opinions, Sasuke couldn't care less about their judgment. He had embarked on this journey for his own sake, not out of obligation.

Meanwhile, in a luxurious apartment, two stunning teenagers and a little girl from affluent families sat together, enjoying their breakfast while watching the same television show.

"What an ungrateful idiot bastard!" exclaimed one of the beautiful teenagers, clearly irritated by the source of the TV program.

Yoo SooHyun, a sophomore at an all-girls high school in Manhattan, possessed long, silky dark brown hair and an hourglass figure that turned heads wherever she went.

"S-Soohyun! Please mind your language while we're eating. Remember, Nari is with us," scolded her cousin Hari, her innocent and naive personality shining through. Hari, too, was strikingly beautiful, with long, silky light brown hair and a curvy figure that accentuated her ample bust. She shared the same school and grade as Soohyun.

"Noona, who is that bastard?" asked the pretty little girl with black hair, her eyes narrowing with an expression beyond her years.

"Hehe~ Hari! Looks like Nari is smarter than you," teased Soohyun, giggling mischievously.

"Don't pay attention to her, Nari. She's a bad influence," Hari advised the little girl, her tone affectionate.

"Hear what? Nom* nom*," Nari replied, her cheeks puffing up as she devoured her cereal, resembling a hamster munching on food.

Both Soohyun and Hari couldn't help but admire Nari's adorable cuteness.

"Sigh... the world is so unstable. Now, a handsome guy our age has to face a dragon alone," Soohyun sighed, leaning back with her hand supporting her face. Suddenly, she sprang up from her seat.

Sliding across the floor, she exclaimed, "Kya!! What a waste! Just quit being a hunter and be my boyfriend!" Her outburst was directed at her smartphone's wallpaper.

"S-Soohyun! Please calm down and finish your breakfast first," pleaded Hari, her voice filled with cuteness.

"Sigh... Hari, I've always wondered why you never seem interested in men. Well, I guess it's understandable, considering you've been attending an all-girls school since you were little."

"Um, aren't you the same, Soohyun? But my parents used to warn me about being cautious around men. Huh... Mom and Dad were quite strict," Hari mused, tilting her head adorably as she placed her index finger on her chin.

"That's obvious! With a chest as big as yours, you're bound to attract a lot of scumbags," Soohyun commented, her gaze fixed on Hari's ample bust.

"Since it's the weekend, how about we take a stroll in Central Park? After all, it's right in front of our apartment," suggested Soohyun, extending an invitation to her two sisters.

The eyes of the two sisters sparkled with excitement as they exclaimed simultaneously, "Central Park!? Count me in!"
