The cold night air at the end of autumn sent a chill down everyone's spines, intensifying the already tense atmosphere. Even the bodyguards, who were seasoned B-rank hunters, couldn't help but feel a shiver running through their bodies. They were well aware of the power exuding from the two formidable hunters standing face-to-face on the desolate runway.

"I'll give you one chance... If you don't return to Japan with me tonight, I'll end your life right here," Goto's voice dripped with a frigidness that mirrored the temperature around them. He was a proud man, but he also knew how to use his cunning intellect to his advantage.

Sasuke couldn't help but let out a grin, almost mocking Goto with his expression. It had been a long time since someone dared to threaten him in such a manner. People who truly knew him would always choose to flee rather than face Sasuke head-on, for he was the strongest shinobi alive.

"Go ahead, then," Sasuke replied calmly, uttering a simple phrase.

In an instant, Goto lunged forward with incredible speed, brandishing his katana with lethal intent. But his movements appeared sluggish in the eyes of Sasuke's Sharingan and his heightened senses. With casual ease, Sasuke parried Goto's attack using his trusty Kusanagi blade.

Sasuke swiftly spun around and delivered a powerful kick to Goto, catching him off guard with its speed and force.

The impact sent Goto hurtling three hundred meters away, obliterating the runway upon his landing. Gasping for breath, Goto slumped to the ground, blood trickling from his mouth. He felt as if his entire body had been shattered by that single kick.

The look in Goto's eyes reflected both astonishment and fear, his pale expression a stark contrast to the sweat drenching his face. The vast disparity in strength between them had become all too evident.

"Is that all?" Sasuke's voice cut through the air, his tone icy as he spoke from a distance.

Those words drained the color from Goto's face, his body trembling uncontrollably. Instinctively, he wanted to run, but his body refused to comply.

"Why did you betray Japan? With your power, you could have ruled over the entire country," Goto stammered, his voice filled with fear.

"You've misunderstood... I was never Japanese to begin with. If you continue to be a nuisance, I'll have to kill you next time," Sasuke replied, his voice devoid of any further interest in Goto. He turned and walked towards the waiting jet, accompanied by his loyal bodyguards.

Goto could only lower his head in shame, his trembling body wracked with pain. He realized that his anger and pride had almost cost him his life, making him feel like a fool.

...

Inside the luxurious private jet, Sasuke sat comfortably, engrossed in reading from his large tablet. Adam, sitting beside him, still felt nervous and apprehensive after witnessing the clash between his boss and Japan's strongest hunter.

Once again, Sasuke's extraordinary display of strength forced Adam to recalibrate his perception of reality.

"Sasuke-sama... I'm curious. Are you really not from Japan?" Adam finally gathered the courage to ask, intrigued by his boss's background. He had assumed that Sasuke had come from Japan to America with the intention of participating in the S-rank raid.

"No, I'm not. But you could say I have ties to them," Sasuke replied curtly, offering a brief explanation.

"I see..." Adam accepted this as a fact, understanding that America was a melting pot of various races and cultures. Sasuke's fluent English had led Adam to believe that he was born and raised in America.
