Lunch and a kidnapping

Madi's POV:

I took a shaky breath as I walked into Chipotle. I quickly got my food and sat down across from him in the booth. 

"Good afternoon," I said, curtly.

"No need to be so formal!" He exclaimed. "I'm your father."

"No, you're not," I told him. "What did you want to talk about?"

"You," He said, almost immediately.

"What about me?" I asked.

"I want to know how you're doing," He told me, slightly impatiently.

"Well," I started. "I'm 16 years old, 17 on Monday. I live in Virginia. I am obviously on tour for Newsies. I have 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Rachael, Nicholas, Emma, and you already met Ben. I also have quite a few non-biological siblings being in such a large cast. I've been dating Sky for a bit over a week now, and I'm happy. Happier than I've ever been."

We talked a bit longer before I headed back to the hotel. 

"Madi emergency!" Josh yelled as soon as I stepped into the lobby.

"What? What's wrong? Are Sky and Ben okay?" I inquired.

"There's been a kidnapping!" He responded.

"Oh my gosh!" I yelled. "Who?"

"Wren!" He yelled back.

"Eh, don't worry," Chaz said while walking over. "She'll be waking up any minute now!"

The two laughed. I rolled my eyes and hit them both with my hat before going to my room, changing into my suit, and swimming.
