Chapter Nine 🦎 Party Guessed 🦎
Derek crouched down and opened a chest full of chains and Isaac looked at the symbol on the inside of the lid. "What is that?" He asked and before Derek could answer, Boyd spoke up, "It's a triskele. The spirals mean different things. Past, present, future. Mother, father, child." Boyd explained.
"Do you know what it means to me?" She asked and he shrugged slightly, "Alpha, Beta, Omega?" He asked and Derek looked at him impressed. "That's right. It's a spiral- it reminds us that we can all rise to one or fall to another. Betas can become Alphas, but Alphas can also fall to Betas, or even Omegas." Derek explained.
"Like Scott?" Isaac asked and Nabina sighed, "Pretty sure Scott's with us now." She said and he raised his eyebrows. "Really? Then where is he now?" He asked as he glanced around slightly, "He's looking for Jackson. Don't worry, he's not gonna have it easy tonight, either. None of us will. There's a price you pay for this kind of power. You get the ability to heal, but tonight, you're gonna want to kill anything you can find." Derek said as he dug around the chest.
"Good thing I had my period last week, then." Erica said, making Nabina chuckle, "I'm so glad I don't have to deal with being a werewolf and having a period." She said. Nabina and Erica both looked at each other and laughed while Isaac and Boyd looked at them awkwardly while Derek raised his eyebrows.
"Well, this one's for you." He said, looking at Erica as he held up a metal headband with screws in it and Nabina hummed and nodded. "Oh, that looks fun." She said as she and Erica looked at each other.

Nabina laid on her bed, watching as Dexa moved around her arm. Someone knocked on her door, making her look over as Isaac walked in and she gasped. "Did you actually use the front door? Honestly, I kinda miss you coming through the window." She said, making Isaac roll his eyes, looking at her in amusement. He walked over and laid down next to her.
