Chapter Twenty-Five 🦊 Anchors 🦊
"We weren't doing anything." Nabina said as she leaned against the kitchen counter, watching as Dexa moved around her arm. Isaac was eating and sitting on one of the stools nearby while Saanvi was getting ready to leave.
"I found the two of you in bed together." Saanvi said and Nabina raised her eyebrows, "Fully clothed and asleep." Nabina said and her mother gave her a look. "You know my rules if Isaac is gonna live here." Saanvi said and Nabina looked at her in amusement, "We fell asleep watching a movie with the door open. It's not like we were having sex." Nabina said.
Saanvi walked over to her daughter and put her hand on Nabina's chest. "What are you doing?" Nabina asked as she looked at her mom weirdly, "I want to see if you lie and I don't trust your boyfriend to tell me what your heart rate says." Saanvi said, making Nabina glance at Isaac, who just shrugged slightly before Saanvi raised her eyebrows slightly.
"Have you had sex in my house?" Saanvi asked, "No." Nabina said and Saanvi waited for a couple seconds before humming slightly. "Okay, no jump but for some reason I still don't believe you but I'm running late." Saanvi said before grabbing her bag then pointing at the two teenagers, "Don't be late for school." She said before walking away.
