TWELVE - Working from home

It was snowing outside and the roads on your way to work were closed down so you had to work from home. It was a little boring being cramped up in the apartment all day but at least you were in the comfort of your home.

As you sat at your desk that stayed in your bedroom you heard the door open.

The door soon shut again and Matt walked into the room.

"Hi, how was work?" He asked taking of his suit jacket.

"Uneventful, how about you?"

"Good, most of the day was trying to get the job site online." He answered grabbing a T-shirt and some sweatpants from the closet.

"I can help you guys with it this weekend." You suggested returning back to your work.

Soon enough Matt was laying on the bed as you worked.

"Are you almost done?" He asked.

"No."

"Well.....can you take a break?" He quizzed.

"Nope, my boss is already mad that I have to stay home."

"Can you come lay with me for a little bit? Just a little nap?" He asked once again.

"Matt, I just told you I-"

"Please?" He continued.

You really wanted to lay with Matt, but you needed to finish your work, and if you got in bed with him you would never want to get back out.

"No."

He went quiet after that. At first you didn't think anything of it, but then you started to feel bad.

You turned around to see what he was doing.

He had a small pouting expression as he just lied in bed.

"Matt....stop your face is triggering me." You joked a little truth in your statement.

"Would that trigger be....affection?" He joked back

"Shut up." You giggled.

"Come sleep with me!"

"I can't." You stated.

"Yeah, you can."

"Would you come sleep with me if I did this while you were working on a case?" You scoffed.

"Yes......so come sleep with me." He repeated.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"Fine!" You gave in leaving your desk and slumping down on the bed.

You positioned yourself in his arms laying down with him.

"Can I play with your hair while you sleep?" He asked.

"Do you want me to fall more in love with you?" You smiled.

"Only if it ends with you in my arms every night for the rest of my life." He spoke still waiting for an answer.

"Yes Matty, you can play with my hair." You added.
