After a long, hard season mine and Mum's and Keira's season were coming to an end, with my final match being Saturday and Mum's being Sunday. Although Mum and Keira weren't going to win the league, I and my team, along as we won this match, had the trophy practically in our hands. It was exciting, this was my most likely last chance to win the league with the U16's and my teammates, before I was bumped up to U18's, something the club and I had been discussing in the last few weeks. We'd also never won the national League, and although we'd won many other tournaments, the thrill of winning something you'd been working on for just under a year, was unmatched, at least that's what mum tells me.

Now, I lie tiredly, after a long, gruelling training session, on the sofa, stroking narla, and scrolling through instagram, whilst mum cooks dinner. We have a open plan kitchen diner thingy, with a sofa and TV in so, I spend a lot of time in there, eating and just hanging out with whoever's there, which normally is Mum. The smell of lasagne wafts over and I smile, knowing exactly why mums making this, and knowing that I can use this reason to my advantage.

"Ooh, what's for dinner?" I say propping myself up so that I can see mum.

"Lasagne" she doesn't even look at me,  which confirms my suspicions. I also notice that lasagne is not what was planned for tonight as on the chalkboard on the wall, it quite clearly says pesto pasta.

"That's not what's on the menu" I question, trying to hide my smirk.

Mum doesn't answer and just walks over to the chalkboard, rubs out pesto pasta, and scribbles lasagne instead.

"Change of mind then, why's that?" I question further.

"Nope, no change of mind, I just make whatevers on the menu"

"That's funny cause I'm pretty sure you just changed the menu, but anyways let's ask Keira, I'm sure she'll know" I say, pretending I'm about to get up.

"No! No need, I've got it all sorted, she's fine" Lucy quickly says moving to block my way out the door.

"You sureee, cause I can go ask"

"Yep, just sit down and stop being annoying"

"Rude!"

"True" Mum simply replies

Lasagne is Keira's favourite dish, one that takes long to make so we don't have often. The only reason to be having it on a random Tuesday night, is because mum's done something. This 'something' could be anything from forgetting to put the washing on, to fully pissing Keira off, so I'm fully intrigued as to the reason today.

"Fine then, you go check on Ke, don't worry, I'll look after to this spontaneous lasagne" I say, smiling.

"You can be a right pain, you know that?" Mum replies

"Uhu, and I expect if I ask Keira right now, she'd say the same thing about you"

"I sure would and I sure am" Keira's entrance to the room has gone unnoticed by both me and mum, and we spin around, shocked to hear her in the room.

"Keiraaa, mum was just about to come look for you, but you're here now, so that's fine" I say, annoying Lucy a bit more; I receive daggers from her as a result of it.

"Oh yeah? And what was that about Lucia Roberta?" Keira asks

" ooooh, full name, someone's in trouble" I pipe in

"Shut it Maisie bronze and get out" Lucy death stares me, one that I ignore and break eye contact.

"And Ke, I'm so sorry, I literally didn't mean to"

"What did she do?" I ask Keira

"No nee-"

"Bloody went and left my hoodie, at some random media thing" Keira cut it, over Lucy.
