Never tell anyone your worries.
If they never come true, people won't stop bugging you about how it hasn't come true yet.
Eventually, you'll end up wishing it would come true to end the suspense and the endless teasing/reminding about how it is nothing to worry about.
But when your worries do come true, they'll tell you it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
