I REALLY don't know how to react to what I've heard. Is he for real? Don't get me wrong, but I cannot believe that Webster is apologizing to me.

I've known him as a grumpy and serious man. I did not expect that he would figure out and be aware of his actions, even though he was smart.

"Coast, I'll understand if you will not forgive me."

"N-No!" I answered with a loud voice and I caught the attention of some of the customers.

Humingi agad ako ng paumanhin dahil sa kaingayan ko. Pagkaraan nito ay dumako ako ng tingin kay Webster. Alam kong kanina pa siya naghihintay ng kasagutan.

"Webster, hindi ko alam kung ano ang nakain mo..."

"I'm serious."

"I know, kaya nga gulat na gulat ako sa sinabi mo, pero kahit na ganoon, I apology accepted."

His eyes circled. "Really?"

"Ayaw mo yata. Sige huwag na lang, binabawi ko na."

"No!" He shouted and just like earlier, siya naman ang nakatawag ng pansin ng mga tao rito.

Baka mamaya iba na ang nasa isip ng mga customer dito dahil kanina pa tumataas ang boses namin. Well, isipin na nila ang gusto nilang isipin.

"So, what are we now?" I asked

"Classmates?"

"Sus, nahiya ka pang sabihin na lumevel up na ang relationship natin," tugon ko naman na ikinataas ng kaniyang kilay. "From classmates slash enemy, to friends! Ano ka ba?" Dugtong ko dahil mukhang binibigyan niya ng ibang kahulugan ang sinabi ko.

He was about to respond, but our order came and it now became the center of our attention. Then, our topic changed into foods and how good was our order.

Our lunch went so well than I expected. Hindi naman pala masamang kasama si Webster. Sadyang arogante at nakakainis lang siya minsan.

"Do you have plans this afternoon?" He asked when we stepped out of the food place.

I looked at him. "I'm planning to go later to the hospital."

His brows ceased "Why? Are you hurt or something?"

I immediately shook my head. Grabe naman siyang mag-conclude ah. Hindi ba puwedeng may dadalawin lang?

"No, I'm visiting my friend. It's a long story, but he's doing well," tugon ko na lamang dahil kung pipilosopohin ko siya, baka uminit na naman ang dugo niya sa akin.

Kakaayos lang ng relationship namin, guguluhin ko agad? This is once in a blue moon!

"You do have lots of guy friends, huh?" My arms crossed after he said that.

"So? What's the problem with that?" I asked with irritation.

Nagpintig na lamang bigla ang aking tainga dahil hindi naging maganda ang dating ng tanong niya. I don't care if he thinks I'm sensitive about this topic.

"Nothing," he plainly answered.

Silence conquers us for minutes, but Webster breaks it. I guess he managed to get some thickness on his face and courage again after what he had said.

Ako lang naman ang nang big deal sa sinabi na niya. I know he doesn't intended to offend me, but I still do. Ang dating kasi sa pagkakasabi niyang madami akong kaibigan na lalaki ay iba. I should let this pass.
