After that day at the hospital, Taehyung's family took Jungkook in. Taehyung and Jungkook grew closer by day and Jungkook eventually opened up to Taehyung about his father.
Jungkook never finished high school but it didn't matter because all he wanted to do was art and when he was finally put in an environment where he could fully explore who he was and express himself he flourished.
One thing that Jungkook would never forget was when Tae's mom found him drawing one day. Jungkook was reminded of what happened after his dad found him but contrary to what his dad did, Taehyung's mom commended him on his skill and he claimed it was nothing but she thought otherwise and took Jungkook out to buy every art supply he could ever imagine to exist.
He never heard from his dad and he doubted that his dad even tried to find him but that didn't matter anymore because he was happy now.
Tae was basically his brother and his parents were like the parents Jungkook never had.
