"It seems like you got into trouble, once again."

Napangalumbaba ako sa may dining table namin at tumingin sakanya na tila ba walang paki alam.

"Are we done already? I need to take a shower....... Mom.'" I said with a snobbish tone.

Her lips formed a line as if she was trying to control her anger.

Palihim akong natawa habang tinitignan ang stressed na mukha niya.

"My Gosh, Selene! Kelan ka ba aayos?!?"

"Maybe if you stop the bullshit deal with your business partner, I will." I faked laugh and rolled my eyes.

She gasped as if she was shocked with my cussing. My only problem with them is that deal, naturally I'm respectful but that deal pisses me off I can't help but be mad right now kahit mahal ko sila.

Tumayo na ako at walang lingon na umakyat papunta sa kwarto ko.

"You don't talk and walk away like that to me you––"

Hindi ko na narinig ang iba pang sinabi niya dahil naka pasok na ako sa kwarto.

Dinampot ko ang remote ng aircon sa may desk at binukas ito bago hinagis pabalik.

Agad ko namang sinuot ang headphones at nag patugtog ng sobrang lakas para hindi ko na marinig ang pagkatok ng nanay kong di pa ako tapos sermonan.

"Selene open this God damn door!" Pilit na binubuksan ni Mom.

"She worked her way through a cheap pack of cigarettes."

Hindi ko na lang ito pinansin at nag hubad ng damit, tanging cycling at bra nalang ang natitira sa suot, tska ako dumapa sa kama, nag bounce pa nga ako ng konti dahil sa malambot ko na mattress.

"Hard liquor mixed with a bit of intellect"

I squeezed my face with the cold pillow while listening to music.

Nag sesenti ako ng may biglang nag notification sa cellphone ko.

"She's drivin' me crazy, but I––"

I paused the music and groaned while picking up from the night stand beside me. One eye closed, I read the message.

Natulog ako at nagising ng 9:30 pm. Madilim na sa labas at kita ang buwan sa malaking bintana na katabi ng kwarto ko.

Tulog narin siguro ang mga tao dito sa bahay dahil lahat naman sila ay mga 'Health Freaks', buti na yon para matakasan ko sila.

I stood up and do some stretching before getting my towel and going to my bathroom. Naligo ako, nag sipilyo, nag face wash, typical bullshit.

After I shower, nag bihis na ako ng Black ripped baggy jeans, and a Maroon shirt that has a skeletal design something in front.

Tumingin ako saglit sa malaking salamin sa may walk in closet ko.

I felt like the outfit was boring so I decided to cut off the sleeves using the nearby scissors. Mabilisang gupit lang at hindi na akong nag abalang hubarin ulit ang shirt.
