Athar's POV
.

"Shall we go now?" Izhaan asked, I nodded and adjusted the knot of my tie

"Let's go" he said and walked ahead

"Izhaan" I called, he stopped and turned around

"Hmmm?"

"You want to tell anyone about last night?"

"No not now. If dadi finds out about Reem's health she will worry a lot, let Reem get fine then maybe I will tell her"

"Ok" I nodded in agreement

We both came downstairs to the dining area, everyone was already there.

"Maa get some breakfast packed please" Izhaan said

"Why?" Maa asked

"Just do it please" he insisted

"Ok" she immediately got up and went to the kitchen

We left soon and made our way to our girls, I mean Izhaan's girl.

I was driving and Izhaan was sitting beside me, he looked in deep thought. He has been really quiet since we returned from Reem's house, five hours ago

"What happened?" I asked

"Nothing" he replied

"What are you thinking?" I asked, he sighed

"I am thinking about Reem"

"Don't worry, she's fine now" I said, he stayed quiet I understood it was something else which was bugging him

"what about Reem?"

"When she was missing yesterday, I felt like I was losing my mind. It was like a part of me has been taken away from me, all I could think of was to find her."

"You were worried about her, i understand"

"It wasn't just worry. I had this weirdly strong feeling in me which was suffocating me"

I could relate to that feeling, I felt it too when Ayesha got stuck in that building. It was a fear of losing.

I turned to look at him. It was written all over his face i just said it out loud

"You are in love with her, aren't you?" I asked, he kept his lips tightly sealed

"So all this while, I was forcing you to talk to dadi and refuse to let Reem be a part of your life and you stayed silent because you fell in love with her, isn't that so?" I raised an eyebrow at him

"I'm not in love with her, yet, but I think I might" he smiled

"Who can blame you! You had to fall in love with her, she has always been the only one for you" I shrugged

"Forget about me, you tell me, did you apologise to Ayesha?" He asked, I recalled our time in the kitchen.

"Don't even ask buddy, that girl drives me mad"

"So you didn't apologise?"

"I did"

"Then what happened?" I rolled my eyes

"Then she made me hold my ears and say sorry, and she made me write "I will not treat Ayesha badly" 100 times"

"What?" Izhaan laughed out loud, I shook my head

"Yeah yeah laugh all you can"

"She gave you the taste of your own medicine."

"Whatever"
