37. 1+1=22

I have said it before. I might say it again. I don't write these books. Little Scooby writes them. My Little side tells me what to write and I translate. Without people asking me things about them, I have no clue what to write. Case in point. This chapter is a direct  result of someone asking me if I could possibly write about the Dragons first day. Until then, this chapter was not thought up. So thank you very much @BethMiller8 for your comments in the last chapter. And thank you all for reading Little Scooby's stories. I really do get headaches if I'm not writing these down. He really likes to yell them to me sometimes.

Glenn's POV

Waking up with my mate beside me has always been the best part of my mornings. Falling asleep at night with my mate has always been the best part of my night. But not being able to sleep all night long is the worst thing ever.

After thinking about what she said before turning over and falling asleep, had my mind racing all night long. "There's a lot about him we didn't know." Yeah, like how strong and fast he is. "And any of your plans you have been thinking about. Don't bother. They won't work. He will see right through them." What did she mean by that? Did he already know I wanted to take him back with us? Did he know that I would do almost anything to control his power? "He is a scary one." Yes he is. But would he work against me? Would he work with those dam dogs instead of his own kind? Do I need to think of him as a threat too?

Over and over all night long these and more questions kept popping in to my head. How was I going to protect my people? Did I now have to protect my people form him too? I need to keep an eye on him. A close eye. Now I'm really glad I have Rio watching his every move. And it seams like I might have Sara on my side too. Maybe she doesn't really like him here? That contract is just a pice of paper. That doesn't really mean anything. Or does it?

I was finally able to fall asleep. But a moment later an alarm goes off and dam near has me attacking the little box saying that it's 0700. Great. I got a whole 2 hours sleep. This day was going to be a really fun one for me. But it's not like I haven't gone without sleep before. After shouting off the screaming box I look over to my mate. She stretches and yawns like she at least got a good night's sleep. I envy her sometimes. If I wasn't the king with all that entails, I might be able to get a good nights sleep too. But all I can do is brush the strands of hair from her face and give her a kiss. "Good morning my love. You sleep well I hope?"

She kisses me back and noddies. "Yep. A very good nights sleep. Now I'm going to go take a shower. You can join me if you want my love." Then she rolls out of bed and heads to the bathroom. I was half tempted to join her. But she likes her really hot showers. And this morning, I was going to need a much colder one then she would like. Maybe that will wake me up enough to get through today.

After she was done with her steam shower, I had my shower. And like normal it did wake me up some. When I finally got out there was a set of clothes waiting on the bed for me. It looked like someone had brought us one of there uniforms to wear. It was basically slacks with a white shirt and a blue tie. It fit just fine, but it was not what I was used to. But when in Rome as the saying goes. When I saw my mate, she was wearing basically the exact same thing.

"So I take it this outfit means we are daddy Doms?" I asked her. I knew that she would have probably looked in to it already.

"Yes, sorta. Black slacks and white shirt means Dom. But the blue tie means we are looking for a baby boy. If we were wearing a pink tie, then we would be looking for a baby girl. Same goes for the Littles around here. But in the Little's case, if they are looking for both a mommy and daddy, they have a stripped tie. And unlike ours, there's are clip on ties. And after they are claimed, they don't have to wear a tie anymore. There mommy or daddy has to wear there tie on there pocket to begin with. Something about a trial period. Then after that trial period is over, then no tie needed. I guess that tells everyone that they are claimed. And what stage they are in."
