"We do this quickly and quietly. We go in and out. Is that understood?"

"Understood," Junkrat said.

"Good," I said, not showing my face. I knew this man would give away who I was. That was the last thing I wanted was to be figured out. If anything, they'll take the blame.

"We do this in three days, alright?"

"Why three days?" Junkrat asked.

"The Queen will be busy that day and her vault will be left unattended. The same with her summer shack."

"Oh, I see. Want to do it without her noticing."

"Exactly. Now, do I need to run through the plan once more or do you remember everything?"

"I think I got it."

"Roadhog, if anything happens, please keep him in line."

He just nodded while I got backlash from Junkrat, saying he was perfectly capable of doing this by himself. We both knew he wasn't going to be able to do this without blowing the cover at least once. I should be the one to do it, but I am their coverup since I am working directly with the Queen herself. I gave Junkrat a bit of a verbal beating before we parted ways, waiting in three days time to enact on the plan we had.

As I walked into the throne room, Odessa picked her head up and smiled at me before returning to her paperwork. I had to get close to the Queen to get information that no one else could. But the closer I got to her, the more and more vulnerable she became to the point where I could feel myself buckling, but I told myself over and over that I could not form a relationship with her. Because if we formed a relationship and we did this plan, she could trace it back to me. Even if she didn't, if I was close to her, I might spill myself and I didn't want to ruin the relationship we formed.

"Somethin' botherin' you, Y/N?" she asked me.

"Huh?" I asked.

"Somethin' botherin' ya? You're more quiet than ya usually are."

"Y-Yeah, everything is fine."

She put her pencil down and walked over to me, since I was just standing in the middle of the room. Standing in front of me, she knelt down and grabbed my hand.

"Hey, listen," she said quietly. "I-I've been thinkin' about somethin'."

"What is it, Odessa?"

"Ya've been a great help with everythin' and ya've given me the best advice I have ever heard from aside from my mother. And I just really wanted to thank ya for doing your best."

"Odessa?" I asked her. "W-What's the meanin' of this?"

"I don't know if my feelings were apparent or not," she breathed out, avoiding my gaze. "But I seemed to have caught feelings for ya."

This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. I tried to suppress the crush I harbored for her for a long time. Now she's coming to me and confessing. What the hell do I do? I've put on a facade this entire time and if it were to come crashing down and she knows what I did, she may accuse me of not loving her genuinely. She's faced such hardships that I don't want to add onto it and be the reason she doesn't trust people. She has more than just me backstabbing her to not trust people. I can't do this. Even if I did, the truth would come out sooner rather than later.

"O-Odessa," I whispered.

"It's alright if ya don't feel the same. I-I just thought I'd tell ya."

"I-I'm a bit conflicted right now with my feelings. I-I need time to process it. I promise to get back to ya."

"Take all the time ya need," she said and stood up, walking back towards her desk.

How could I do this to her? I helped her for the day and headed back to the base to see Junkrat and Roadhog were there. I grabbed my mask and placed it over my face since they turned the light on and it was still daytime outside. So I couldn't hide in the shadows as easily.

"W-We have to call the plan off."

"What do ya mean?" Junkrat asked.

"We have to call it off. We can't do this anymore."

"About that," Roadhog grunted.

"What?"

I looked between the two of them and slammed my hands on the table they were sitting at. I got into Junkrat's face, growling slightly.

"Ya jumped the gun, didn't ya?!"

"Y-Yes," Junkrat said.

"Junkrat! I will skin ya alive if the Queen doesn't do it first! Please tell me ya weren't followed?"

There was a pounding on the door and I let out a sigh, "You're as good as dead, Junkrat."

I opened up the door to see the Queen herself was standing in front of me. There was such a difference in her aura now, not to mention the way the sun was directing the light. It casted a shadow over her face and all I could see clearly were her burning amber eyes as she was trying to melt the mask away with just her intense stare.

"Where is Junkrat and Roadhog?"

I opened the door wider and allowed her to step in. As soon as she saw them, she grabbed Junkrat by his hair and dragged him out of where we were. Roadhog understood that he was in deep shit too and just walked after the Queen.

"Oi, who are you?" she turned to face me after she walked out of the place we were in.

I walked out and looked around, letting out a sigh. I knew this day was about to come. It's a good thing I didn't confess to her earlier or else it might have complicated more things for us. Reaching up with shaking hands, I removed the mask and looked down at the ground, away from her. Walking over, she knelt down and placed her hand underneath my chin, forcing me to look up at her.

"You were the mastermind behind this, weren't ya? These two numpties don't have a brain in their head to come up with something like what they did."

"I was, your majesty."

"I'll deal with you later," she sighed, standing up and walking over to Junkrat and Roadhog.

All I heard was her yelling something to them before she dragged them towards the gates. After she kicked them out of Junkertown, she made her way back to me. She stood before me once more and as I picked my head up to look at her, the threatening aura she once had was gone.

"I don't know how to feel about this, Y/N," Odessa said. "I put a lot of trust in ya. I broke down my walls and you did too. We were vulnerable together and I saw you as a person I could trust with my feelings and my emotions. I saw ya as a person I could go to when I needed advice. Now, I come before you not knowing what to do."

"Your majesty," I said. "I-I am very sorry for everythin' I did. I just want you to know that Roadhog and Junkrat came to me askin' help with their plan since they knew I was close to ya. They wanted to use me as a distraction and to get intel on what you were doin' and everything. I myself had no intention of hurting ya."

She placed a hand on her shoulder and knelt down to look in my eyes, "Take some time off. I think that's the best thing the both of us can do."

"H-How long?" I asked.

"I'll come to you after a while and then we can talk. Sound good?"

"Y-Yeah."

"I'm willing to give ya a second chance. Don't screw it up," she said and stood up.

"Believe me, your majesty, I won't."

"Good," she said and walked away.
