"D-Do you think we're doin' the right thing?" I asked my friend.

"Yeah. Quit overthinkin' things, Y/N," she said. "If ya do, you'll get us caught."

"I'm just sayin', we're goin' to get into some serious trouble. We're really the only gang in Junkertown and the Queen has us on her radar."

"We'll be fine. If ya keep your mouth shut."

I sighed and just went along with what we were doing. We didn't really do anything illegal per say, just that our leader thought it would be a good idea to vandalize the Queen's home. First it wasn't anything major. It was just placing little things here and there for her to not notice if she walked by quickly. Then it started to become bigger things such as spray painting a giant dick on the side of her house or something immature only our leader would think of. I only joined because my friend was in it and her boyfriend was in in the gang. We're not really a 'gang' gang. More of a band of immature guys who thinks messing with the Queen is funny. I think it's a death sentence. Sure enough, it was.

Tonight was going to be the biggest crime we were going to commit and I was supposed to be the lookout. We were also going to be teaming up with two other people. I knew who they were and I tried to back out of it, but my friend was the one who roped me in. So there I was, standing outside of the Queen's house as the others ransacked the inside of her house. As I listened to them have fun and screaming inside, I noticed people were walking by, muttering to themselves and pointing at me. I just hid my face with my hand and looked away from them, trying to do anything that made me look small. The worst part about this entire ordeal was my friend knew I had a massive crush on the Queen even though I knew better than to pursue her. I was way out of her league.

"Oi!" I heard someone call from a few feet away. They're all screwed if I didn't do anything. But maybe this can be my chance to get out of this situation.

Turning, I was face to face with the Queen herself. I've only seen her from a distance and never two feet away. She was even more stunning up close.

"U-U-Uh, h-h-hello, your majesty. W-Wonderful evenin'?"

"What are ya doin' out 'ere?" she asked.

"I'm going to be straight forward with ya, your majesty," I said. "T-The people inside your house, they're the gang you've been looking out for."

"Yeah. You're part of 'em."

"I don't want to be anymore."

"You're associating with the wrong type of people then."

"I was roped into this. My friend and her boyfriend wouldn't stop haressing and teasing me about stuff to get me into this situation."

"What did they do?" she asked.

"T-They were threatenin' me with they'd tell ya my secret."

"Your secret?"

"That I have a bit of a crush on ya."

There was silence before she knelt down and was face to face with me, "I don't commend their actions, but you didn't put your foot down or even come to me with the issue. Therefore, the punishment I give 'em 'ere tonight, you'll have to suffer the same fate unfortunately. I know I should punish those who should be punished, but then they'll get on you for not being punished as well since you were in cahoots with 'em."

"Understood, your majesty."

"But do know this," she whispered in my ear. "You're welcome to come back anytime ya wish. But ya need to be alone."

"U-Understood."

"Good," she stood up and slammed open the door.

"OI! What the hell are ya doin' in 'ere?!"

"Shit!" I heard the group's leader yell.

"Y/N!" they all shouted as I laughed to myself.

She poked her head out from the doorframe, "Get in 'ere!"

I walked in to find everyone was all lined up before the Queen.

"I could have ya killed. I could have ya skined alive and leave ya rottin' in the prison chamber. Or I could leave ya to the Wastelands. I think the latter option is better."

They all sighed and I tried my best to supress my urge to laugh. The Queen escorted us to the gates and she shoved us out into the Wastelands.

"I better not see any of your faces around 'ere ever again!" she said before closing the gates.

"What the hell, Y/N?!" our leader asked.

"Look, you put me on guard duty. I got bored and walked away from my post. What were ya thinkin' when ya put me on guard duty?"

"You're done with the gang."

"Good. I never wanted to be part of it anyway!"

They all walked off, leaving me to stare at the giant gates that lead to a place I once called home. Letting out a sigh, at least I was free from the people I wanted to get rid of. I was about to walk away, but the gates opened up once more. The Queen walked out and stood before me yet again.

"Y/N, was it?"

"Yes."

"Odessa or Dez," she said. "And to respond to ya earlier about you havin' a little crush on me."

"Yeah," I said, getting a bit curious.

She looked around, making sure no one was around. Leaning down, she placed a gentle kiss to my cheek.

"Ya captured my attention from afar."

"R-Really?"

She nodded her head, "Really. I'm sorry to do this to ya."

"I understand," I said as I looked into her amber eyes. "I'll let things cool down for a bit between us before I might visit."

"I'll be looking forward to it," she smiled as she walked back into town, the gates closing behind her.

I couldn't help but giggle to myself as I finally now knew I had a chance with the Queen herself. From now on, I just had to make sure I didn't come here with the others or let the others know where I was going and what I was doing. But it didn't matter now since I was no longer associated with them. It was a relief. Maybe if everything blows over, I can come back into Junkertown. But that's a stretch and I'll have to see how this goes with the Queen.
