valerie"And, none of my friends are textin' me back. Like what the fuck? Nobody can text this mornin'?" Yenvy snapped. She was back to normal, both of us in the back seat as we left Zinnias to Houston.
"Maybe they all hung over too," I mumbled.
"Shit," Yenvy rolled her eyes.
"Hey. I just hope everybody made it home safely. That's my concern. And Eneaj."
"Eneaj not even textin' back, like what the fuck?"
"Mrs. Smith said we had an argument or something last night," I said slowly, frowning, "But you'd think she'd at least be cussin' me out or sumin in the messages. But nothing?"
"Maybe y'all decided to go y'all separate ways like me and Peytyn, for good," Yenvy stated bitterly. "That's the clearest thing I remember from last night. I told myself I was done with the self medicatin'. That this wasn't no good," she sounded so disappointed in herself. "You and Eneaj ground me. I gotta stop hangin' out with certain friends."
"They was feedin' you shot after shot," I commented.
"Oh look, Jadyn sent something," Yenvy tapped at her screen, "Everybody on they end is okay. They all at the apartment."
"That's good, but that still leaves Eneaj."
"I hope she's okay too," Yenvy mumbled. "I'm really mad we used all my juice yesterday. I need a hit of something."
"You needa lay off everything and focus on yourself."
Yenvy shot me a look, then it softened. "You right."
All you could hear was blues on the radio for awhile before Yenvy said something else. "Have you tried checkin' her location?"
"No, shit, I don't know why I hadn't. I'm not fuckin' thinkin'," I scrambled to get out my phone and check Eneaj's location.
"What it say?" Yenvy leaned over to see, her tits brushing my arm.
I pulled back a little, showing her. "Eneaj don't even be over there...do she?"
"Nope. She don't even be hangin' with people from there, so what the fuck?"
"Maybe her phone got taken," I frowned.
"Hope that's not the case. If so, they doin' a pretty ass job about it with the location still bein' active."
"I say we get back to the mansion, hope she's there, if not, shower, eat something small, and drive over there in your vehicle to see if she's where it says she is."
"I agree," Yenvy nodded. "I'm not ready to lose another friend."
We got to the crib, and Eneaj's vehicle was nowhere to be found.
"I'm gettin' scared now, Val," Yenvy said.
"It's alright," I soothed her. "Call up, Pey-
Yenvy shot me a look.
"I know y'all not on speakin' terms, but we need the crew out here helpin' us find my girlfriend."
"What if she's just inside and left her vehicle at the club?" Yenvy bit her lip.
"Only Mrs. Smith's vehicle was out front when we left, remember?"
"Crap. This is bad. Is it too early to file a Missing Person's?"
"Let's not get that far yet," I suggested.
