~~~Steve's pov~~~
We got to the containment level just in time to see a helicopter fly away from the gaping hole in the wall.
For a second, I thought Bucky must be gone; because why else would a helicopter start flying away?
"Help me..." A man groaned on the floor by the broken containment module.
While Sam looked around for any sign of life, I lifted the guy off the floor and pushed him into the wall.
"Who are you? What do you want?" I asked firmly.
"To see an empire fall." He answered smugly.
I heard a commotion behind me, and I saw Bucky attacking Sam.
Then I realized something, Catherine wasn't there.
~~~Sam's pov~~~

The metal-armed lunatic punched me square in the chest, sending me flying into a wall.

Steve was distracted by the doctor and didn't see the psycho coming up behind him.

How is he still here? We just saw a helicopter leave. And it wasn't one of ours, so why didn't they take the Winter Soldier with them?

~~~3rd person pov~~~
The fight continued, and Zemo escaped. Bucky had gone up a few floors to the helicopter on the roof.
(I'm putting the video here cause I'm not writing this whole thing out. I suck at writing fight scenes.)
Steve watched from the warehouse window, ensuring no police had followed them there.
They had rescued an unconscious Bucky from the river and stuck his metal arm between two heavy pieces of metal, holding him in place.
A helicopter passed overhead, and seconds later, Sam called Steve to the room where they were keeping him.
~~~Steve's pov~~~

"Hey, Cap. He's up."

I nodded and quickly ran over to the room.

"Steve..."

"Which Bucky am I talking to?" I asked.

"Your mom's name was Sarah. You used to wear newspapers in your shoes." He chuckled at the last part.

Seriously? That's the first thing he remembers?

At least he's back to normal.

"You can't read that in a museum." I smiled ever so slightly.

I have my best friend back for the first time in almost eighty years.

"Just like that, we're supposed to be cool?" Sam looked at me like I was crazy.

"What did I do?" He asked seriously.

"Enough," I answered vaguely. "But we have another problem. Catherine went to get you, and now we can't find her. What happened?"

His eyes widened with guilt and realization. "Oh, God. I knew this would happen. Everything Hydra put inside me is still there. All he had to do was say those damn words. The doctor injected her with something. It stops her from using her magic."

"How do you know that? And as a matter of fact, how do you know Catherine?" I pressed.

When the two of them met earlier, it was probably the biggest shock I'd ever experienced, aside from when I woke up seventy years in the future.
