As Alexis is walking near a shore two months after her packs death she soon catches the scent of another wolf and immediately hides under some small bushes.
"Don't be afraid young one. I will not harm you." A male voice says as Alexis sees the grey fuzzy paws outside the bush standing a little ways away.
"Who are you?" Alexis asks as she backs up further under the bushes while the the wolf steps a little closer to the bush causing Alexis to growl.
"My name is Nava young one. I will not hurt you. I do not wish to. Are you hungry little one?" The wolf asks kindly.
"Why do you care if I'm hungry? I'm not your pup." Alexis says.
"Where are your parents dear? A young pup shouldn't be by herself out here. It's not safe." Nava says as Alexis pins her ears back.
"Neither are strange wolves. They attack my family. Besides what does it matter to you? Nobody wants a pup like me around them. I'm too different." Alexis says sadly.
"We all have our differences dear. It's alright. Why don't you come out and let me see you. I'm sure you are no different than me." Nava says as Alexis hesitantly comes out of the bushes but keeps her distance from the grey wolf.
"I'm beg to differ on me being the same as you." Alexis says as she looks down.
"I don't know see why you think so lowly of yourself dear. You look like a beautiful young female wolf pup to me." Nava says kindly.
"You shouldn't judge me by my looks." Alexis says as he makes snow fall around her before making it stop.
"You have abilities like no other wolf." Nava says with surprise in his voice.
"Yeah. Now you know. So please just leave. I don't want trouble." Alexis says as she looks at the wolf.
"Do you have a pack to live with?" Nava asks.
"No I don't." Alexis says.
"Would you like to come to my pack? I will care for you." Nava says kindly.
"Why?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Because I wasn't taught to judge people just because of their differences. I was taught to judge them on who they are. You seem like a young sweet pup who was mistreated for being different and it costed you dearly and you are now scared to trust others due to it." Nava says as Alexis looks at him.
"You'll just change your mind if I do. No thank you." Alexis says.
"I won't change my mind. Just give my pack a chance dear. If anything at least stay for the night. You can get a good meal by staying." Nava says as Alexis looks down before at Nava.
"Fine I guess." Alexis says.
"What's your name young one?" Nava asks.
"Alexis." Alexis says as she begins to walk with the wolf.
*5 Months Timeskip*
Five months has passed since Alexis has joined Nava's pack as his adoptive daughter. One day as Alexis is wandering around away from the pack after being able to finally explore without a guide Alexis soon spots the scent of a rabbit and begins to chase after the scent. Not long after Alexis has been chasing the scent she soon finds herself in a unrecognizable part of the woods.
"Okay. Now I can see why Nava didn't want me to wander off so far. Where the heck am I at?" Alexis asks as he stops and looks around.
"Lost pup?" A female voice asks as Alexis turns around and sees a red fox.
"Who are you?" Alexis asks as she pins her ears back and lowers her head.
"That does not matter. Are you lost?" The fox asks.
"Who's asking?" Alexis asks as he watches the fox.
"A friend. I can help you get help. Will you permit me to sweetie?" The fox asks kindly.
"I uh I guess." Alexis says as she cautiously follows the fox.
