I heard the music stop and stopped playing, still feeling a bit down, but put a smile on, like I always do.

Amity: ok, that was really good for the first time hearing the song.

Emira: yeah that was great, now we will talk about how this went and let ya know Luz.

Luz: damn when you talk all business-y like that it makes me nervous, hah.

They chucked a bit and amity blushed, seeing how cute Luz can be, just like she remembered.

Luz: alright it was awesome seeing you guys again but I got to go, bye.

Everyone: bye Luz!

(Amity pov)

I sigh, seeing Luz leave, I already miss her perfect smile. And for some reason everyone was smirking at me.

Amity: what?

Boscha: oh I don't know, you just being a gay mess that whole time.

My face was red cause I was already starting to get frustrated with these nitwits.

Amity: ugh shut the hell up you guys suck.

Edric: oh no, I think we were right, look how red she is.

I stomped off and heard them laughing in the background, I went off into my room and got my diary out. I had stuck pictures of me and Luz at our Azura meetings but by far my favorite was the picture me and Luz took at grom, Titan she's so beautiful.

I heard a knock on the door, thinking it was the twins or boscha.

Amity: COME IN!

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the tall Latina step in the room.

Luz: hey A-Amity

Amity: ah! H-hi Luz, what are you doing h-here?

Luz: oh yeah um I-I was wondering if you would like to go hang out at the market, tomorrow, with m-me.

Amity: oh y-yeah I would l-love to.

Luz: Really! Uh ok ok I'll see you tomorrow at 11 o'clock next to the potion stand?

Amity: sounds g-great

Luz: ok uh bye...beautiful, haha

Before I could say anything else she had shut the door and ran away, I'm just sitting there squealing to myself, face red, and the happiest I've been since I first saw Luz come through my window. She probably meant it platonically but it's still so nice to hang out with her tomorrow, and don't get me started on her calling me beautiful.

I guess my squealing was noticeable cause everyone ran into my room.

Everyone: is everything ok?!

Amity: YES EVERYTHING IS AMAZING!

Emira: wow what happen did Luz ask you on a date?

Amity:...

Everyone: OH MY TITAN

amity: well she didn't say date she probably meant it platonically.

Everyone just gave me the "you fucking moron" look.

Amity: what?

Emira: nothing nothing, just, when is the date?

Amity: 11am

Emira: ok that gives us time.

Amity: time for what?

Emira: to discuss if Luz made it or not, why not just tell her tomorrow.

Amity: I guess that's ok, we already saw a bunch of performers today so I think we should stop auditioning and just decide.

Edric: right, everyone who thinks Luz should be my replacement raise their hands.

Everyone rose their hands.

Amity: well it's settled I'll tell her tomorrow.

Everyone nodded in agreement and left the room.

Amity: oh I can't wait.

(Luz pov)

Luz: oh my Titan I just asked the amity blight, on a date! And she said yes! Well technically I didn't say date but we are still hanging out together and I couldn't be happier!

I made my way home and put my stuff away, I think it's time I practiced my magic, I haven't done any in a long time, hopefully I still remember the glyphs.
Maybe I should change first, let me get into my workout clothes. It's just my sports bra cropped white tee and some tight black champion shorts.

I made all the glyphs I wanted and went outside. I put a ice manikin and just worked around sneaking and going in for the attack.

It was late now and I was pretty tired but I knew that was good for me, anyways I went back inside and took a shower, then changed into my sleeping clothes then went to bed.

Luz: tomorrow is gonna be a good day.
