Danny POV
Tom and Will look at me, practically begging me to go after her but instead I sigh deeply and sit down,
"I think you should go after her.."
"No why should I Tom? give me one reason"
He shakes his head
"Because she wants you to.."
"She just walked out of the room on me Tom, why the hell would she want me to go after her??"
".. It's obvious that she's hurting and she needs someone to talk to, so unless you want to lose her completely I would go after her"
"She's being a bitch!!"
I storm out of the room, and I walk right out of the door. I get outside...
"It's raining... Great"
I think to myself, I feel my phone vibrate
1 new message from Will
I put my phone back in my pocket with a sigh, I put my hood up and begin walking through the streets, I go into my favourite coffee shop, its my favourite because a mate of mine owns it but today I don't stop for long so I buy my coffee and quickly leave, I didn't know where I was going I ended up in a football field, its deserted because by now its tipping down with rain. I find a bench and sit down,
"Maybe it's over with her now...."
"No shut up, you love her...."
"You may love her but she doesn't love you....."
"That's not true....."
"How do you know?...."
"she said she does!"
"So the bitch tells the truth..."
"She's not a bitch...... Well ok she's a bit of a bitch but not much!!"
I end the eternal conflict in my brain by getting up and starting to run, I run for ages the next time I check my phone it half seven, I keep running, until I reach the road before her flat, I take a deep breathe before I cross the road, and I enter the building I take the lift up to her floor, I wish I had gone home first now, once the lift gets to her floor, I find my way to her door, I take another deep breathe and knock the door, nothing happens for awhile I begin the walk away,then I hear lock in the door move, she opens the door and sees me. Her eyes search me and she blocks the doorway with her arm, after a few minutes she sighs and gestures for me to come in by moving her arm away from the door frame. I step inside her home and she closes the door. My eyes search hers looking for something.
"Jess look I'm s......"
"Shh, we'll talk about this in a minute, go and have a shower and put on some dry clothes"
I do as I'm told, while I'm in the shower I think about what I'm going to say to her, once I'm out I pull on my clothes and head out of the room, I smell something coming from the kitchen, I wander in and see her cooking something, I walk behind her and wrap my arms around her waist, I feel her body tense and silently I clear my throat
"Hey babe"
"Hey"
"What you doing?"
"Making some soup"
"For who?"
"You"
"Just me?"
"No, and me"
I wrap my arms tighter and I nuzzle the back of her head.
"What kind of soup?"
"Chicken and noodle"
"My favourite"
I whisper into her ear in a husky voice, she spoons the soup into the bowl then she puts the bowl onto the plate with a bread roll next to it, she passes the plate to me and I head over to the table and sit down, she sits opposite me once we've both finished I collect the plates and put them in the sink, I walk back over to her and I lower my head to look into her eyes
"I'm sorry"
I hear her whisper, I look deeper into her eyes and I'm lost in a beautiful green sea
"No I'm sorry"
"I over reacted"
"I shouldn't have said it was okay to listen in on your conversation"
"I love you"
She stands up straight and looks into my eyes searching for my answer
"I love you too"
I pick her up and put her up the kitchen counter, I crash my lips onto hers, we begin to move in between the counters we get to the sink and I'm tempted to turn the tap on, she falls into the sink and the tap goes on anyway, I burst out laughing and so does she
"Danny..help me"
I pull her out of the sink and into a cuddle, her shorts are soaking now I move my hands down to her butt, and I kiss her again she pulls away and goes to the cupboard to feed Jackson she squats down to get the food out and once she poured it into his bowl she turns off the light and clings onto me, I slap her butt and she giggles she leaves to change her shorts and then she returns.
"Want to watch a movie?"
"Yeah, sure"
"What do you want to watch?"
"You pick Dan"
"Okay then"
I look through all her DVDs I come to one called 'The possession' I put it in her DVD player and I return to my seat on the sofa next to her, she grabs her blanket and she arranges it over both of us, the movie starts and its fine at first like most horror movies then the atmosphere begins to change, Jackson walks in to go to his bed which startles us. By the end of the movie she's in my arms cuddling up close to me, I breathe in her scent
"Tired?"
"Yeah"
I help her up and we walk into her bedroom, I close the door when I turn back around she wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me, my hands automatically go to her waist and I hold her tightly, I pull her towards the bed, I fall on top of her still kissing her I play with hem of her top and I begin to remove it once its off I begin on her shorts easing them over her legs, suddenly she sits up
"Dan!"
"Yeah?"
I'm confused why would she stop me now?
"Not yet, I'm sorry..."
"No it's fine, I got ahead of myself"
"I shouldn't have..."
"It's fine, its just you're so beautiful and I want you.....every inch of you"
"I'm sorry"
"No babe there's nothing to be sorry about, if you're not ready, you're not ready that's it"
She pulls up her shorts and puts her top back on, then she cuddles up to me and falls asleep
Next time she won't stop me, I think in my head then I kiss her forehead and eventually I fall asleep
