I can see the look in his eyes, the look of pure love, pure hope, pure happiness. However, these feelings weren't shared, and you knew that you could no longer blame anyone but yourself for this mess.

I knew I was being greedy as the feelings that I felt for the first time arrive. Heartbreak. I so strongly wanted to get caught as if I'd lied, just so I could get rid of this fluttering feeling. I just don't want to linger around you like a scent anymore. I want to be there in your life, always, always. Why does it get harder the closer you get? Even if I prepare something to say, it disappears somewhere else when I see you with him. What could you say? You had madly, truly and deeply fallen in love with him, but he had madly truly and deeply fallen in love with someone else. Oh, what a pity.
