WEAK HERO - AHN SOOHO X OC

ELEVEN: HESITATION

The teacher was giving them the last advices for todays lesson but he was interrupted by Bumseok coming inside the classroom, she checked her clock in confusion and noticed it was the end of the class, why did he come so late? it never happened before, he was almost always studying like Sieun, but when the teacher left things became more stranger, Bumseok got up and went to talk with these bully dogs in a friendly way, like they didn't try to threaten him the first day he moved there.

"what the fuck..." she whispered moving her eyes to Sieun that was looking at the scene too until Bumseok and the group went out the classroom.

It was their lab class so she got up from her seat walking to wake Sooho up and the boy complained a bit before actually standing up, he placed an arm around her shoulders and she could feel some girls eyes on them while he pulled her with him in the lab, Sieun followed and they sat down all together.

"didn't Bumseok come to school yet?" the boy questioned placing his head on his arms still sleepy.

"he did." Sieun sighed.

"he did? when?" Sooho questioned in confusion.

but the three were interrupted by loud laughing and the group of dogs came in with the mentioned boy sitting down all together, they all turned in their direction and Sieun stood up taking them by surprise and walking up to the group.

"we need to talk." he said.

him and Bumseok left the class together and she stopped Sooho from following not wanting them to fight again, the boy sat back down next to her.

"I think we should go too, just to make sure he doesn't make any strange moves on Sieun too." Sooho said.

and the girl ended up agreeing, the two silently walked where their friends were and stayed behind a wall not wanting to interrupt their conversation, obviously some of Bumseok words caught their attentions.

"that punk looked down on me from the start, that punk never thought of me as a friend, he just thought of me as an underling and approved going out only so he could get closer to Hyejin." he let out and she was not quick enough to stop Sooho from walking behind him.

"you got caught badmouthing me, right?" Sooho spoke up making them turn in his direction, the girl stepped out too just to intervene in case something would go down.

"what are you gonna do about it?" Bumseok answered and walked away.

The three stayed in silence for a bit and then her eyes traveled to the boy next to her, she gave him a small pat on his shoulder and he just nodded letting her know he was okay, Sieun simply looked at them, he knew something was going on between the two, it was obvious to him, he knew them better than anyone else.

THAT EVENING

the girl was waiting outside the cram school for her brother to finish when a familiar bike parked right next to her and the boy smiled at her.

"what are you doing here?" she asked in surprise.

"you weren't at the apartment, so I figured out you were going to pick Sieun up at cram school." he got down of his bike. "let's wait for him and go somewhere together."

"why? did something good happen?" she questioned in confusion.

"it's friday night, we should have some fun, your brother is always studying so give me some support hyejin-ah." he gave her a small pout trying to convince her and she sighed.

"fine." she said and he smiled leaving a quick kiss on her lips, she wasn't used to it yet but he was quiet the clingy type.

the two waited for Sieun and when he got out he gave them a surpised look, well he could expect his sister but Sooho?

"it's friday night, catch a taxi and follow us or I'll kidnap your sister." the boy said getting on his bike and the girl sat down behind him.

"why?" Sieun asked.

"because you're an old man, c'mon" she said and her brother finally gave in catching a taxi.

she placed her arms around the boy waist when he started driving his bike and she didn't question where they were going, she just placed her head on his back and his heart skipped a beat.
They stopped infront of a mini market and went inside to buy some drinks, then they sat outside all together.

"okay cheers." Sooho excitedly said and all three of them drank. "isn't it great?"

"it tastes like pee." the girl said with a disgusted face.

"did you try drinking pee?" Sooho joked out taking the drink from her hands so he would drink it instead. "go buy something you like then, I'll pay." he smiled.

"you're not fun at all." she replied to his joke and then stood up walking back inside the store.

The two boys sat there in silence for a while and then Sieun decided to speak up first. "so what's going on with my sister?"

"uh? what are you walking about?" Sooho answered stretching his arms.

"you know what I'm talking about." Sieun replied and Sooho sighed.

"I guess we are... seeing each others, you see I... kinda like her and she does too so..." Sooho tried to explain a bit hesitant, he was basically dating his bestfriend sister.

The girl got out the store with a new drink and the two stopped talking, she sat back down in confusion sipping on her drink, it seemed like they were talking about something important, but luckily for Sooho, Sieun was quick to change the subject so the girl wouldn't suspect.

"I think Bumseok is being used... by the dogs." he let out and the couple looked at him.

"so what?" she questioned.

"I think he buys them shoes and clothes, Bumseok pays for the drinks too." her brother continued and she sighed.

"he smells of alcohol everyday." Sooho spoke up too looking down at the drink in his hands. "what if Bumseok is the one using them? that punk wanted it from the start, he stayed with us because he wanted to be popular, he thought hanging out with us made him cooler... he even talked behind my back and called Hyejin a bitch." he scoffed clenching his jaw.

"do you really believe that?" Sieun questioned.

Sooho took a deep breath slowly moving his eyes to the girl, she looked back at him in silence, but her eyes were saying to him that everything would be fine.
