Sirimiri (n.) si-ri-mi-ri

A Spanish word that translates to a light rain; a fine drizzle; stronger than mist but less than a shower

In the quiet solitude of the dance studio, I am swept away by the melodies that echo within my heart. Guided by the grace and passion of my parents, both revered dancers in their own right. Their wisdom has shaped me, imparting a belief that life is not about waiting for storms to pass, but learning how to dance in the rain.

Amidst the gentle pirouettes and arched extensions, fate took an unexpected turn. While my parents had envisioned a future for me adorned in tutus and satin slippers, I find myself yearning for the unknown, for a connection that defies logic and tradition.

Yet, as the rain falls upon the city's streets, washing away the façades of societal expectations, I am torn between the path carved for me and the tempestuous emotions that surge within.

In the world of dance and the realm of shadows, our love story unfolds. As the storm clouds gather, I am determined to learn how to dance in the rain, embracing every unpredictable step, holding onto the belief that love, no matter how unconventional, has the power to transform our lives.
