Daniel's pov
I woke up very early this morning I could barely sleep, I couldn't stop thinking about what happened yesterday, I'm supposed to take DJ over there today and I'm really nervous, what if she doesn't like me, what if she thinks I'm crazy.
I never planned on telling Tamila how I feel, and there's no way out for me I'm gonna have to her face for the rest of the school term. I'm so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even hear the phone ringing "dad your phone is going off " Kennedy said. I answered the phone and it was Tamaya "hello is this Kennedy's dad"she asked, "yes" I answered "can you bring Kennedy with you when your coming"---"yes I will"---"ok thanks tell her to bring her swim suit too"---"ok"---"bye"---"bye".
*2 hours later 2 pm*
"Are you guys ready" I yelled from downstairs "yes we're ready " they said running downstairs heading to the car. We got in the car and we were heading over to tam's house "dad are you ok you look nervous" DJ asked "that's because I am " I answered "your still thinking about yesterday "---"yes" ---"look man if I know Ms Vaughn like I know Ms Vaughn you have nothing to worry about, just relax" he said ,"ok, I just hope this doesn't blow up on my face" i said "it won't" DJ assured.

Tamila's pov
I just got out of the shower and I'm getting dressed but can stop thinking about yesterday,"knock knock" ---" come in" I said, "good morning mama"the girls said "good morning" I replied, "where's OJ " the asked. I moved the pillow so they can see him. "He slept with you last night didn't he" they all said together, "well" I started to say before they cut me off "mama, are you serious, when we ask to sleep with you , you say no but you let him sleep with you that's unfair, and I'm starting to get a feeling he's your favorite"Tori said "wow slow down, just because I baby him a lot means he's my favorite" I said "Whatever" she said "come give me a hug " I said ,tamaya and Tailya come over and give me a hug , but Tori was still standing there " so now you dont want to hug me" I quickly got up ,grab her by the arm and pulled her into a hug and give her kisses all over her face"mama I can't breathe your smattering " she said laughing "so now you don't want my kisses" I replied OJ woke up and saw us and came over for a hug then the girls came over and we had a group hug "I love you " I said to them "we love you too mom" they replied. A couple seconds later the door bell rang "let me go get that" I said pulling out of the hug "ok we'll go get our swim suits" Tori said.
Daniel's pov
I pull up to tam's house "DJ are you sure this is Ms vaughn's house" I asked him "yes I'm sure" he answered "wow" me and Kennedy said at the same time. We walked up to the door and rang the bell.

I open the door and its Daniel and the kids " hey guys, come in" I said "thanks " they said walking in. I see Daniel walking back to his car "hey where are you going" i asked him"I'm going home" he answer "boy get in this house, you think your gonna leave me alone with all these kids" I said to him "ok fine" he said.
Daniel's pov
I walk into the house and lock the door. As I'm following tam, I can't help but look at her butt in this dress, umm I wish I could just touch it. We walked into the living room and sat down it has a big glass wall allowing us to keep an eye on the kids from inside. "So you want to talk about what happened yesterday" she asked " I didn't mean for it to come out like that I was caught off guard" he answered "I could tell by the look on your face" I said "look I don't know what it is about you that makes like, your different from all the other women I've met" he said " I like you too but its not going to work" I said "what? Is this about your husband, just because he cheated on you means I'm gonna cheat on you " he said "its not just about him cheating on me its more than that, you see when my husband and first got married it was all sun flowers and rainbows until he started to show his true colours, he became very abusive and controlling he'd want to tell me what I can and can't wear, when I'm allowed to go out, who I'm allowed to talk to and if I didn't do what he said beat me until bleeding or passed out, I had 7 miscarriages during that time it was a miracle that I give to my son, when my husband died it was best news I've gotten in years, I finally got out of that relationship and I had no intention on getting into a another one" she said crying," I'm sorry you had to go through that" I said going over to give her a hug, she hugged me tightly letting go of all those emotions she's been holding back all these years. "No woman should have to go through what you went through, but I went through something similar, as a child I've seen my mother get beaten so many that it traumatized me, I tried to kill this man twice for messing with my mom, it got to a point where I couldn't trust guys until my mom found this guy, he showed me what a real man is supposed to be like, he always said in order for a woman to treat you like a king you must treat her like a queen" I told her "where is he now she asked "well he's my step dad" I said "wow " she said in a quiet voice she's so beautiful even when she cries "look I really like you and I really hope you can change your mind" I said looking into her pretty blue eyes "I don't know but I'll think about it" she replied. A few hours go by and we were still talking "what are yall doing" the said kids said coming inside, "talking" tam said pulling out of the hug we didn't even realize we were still hugging "that looks like yall were doing a little more than just talking" DJ said "Wow look at the time, its time for us go" I said, the kids got there stuff we were saying our goodbye's I went over to tam to give her a hug and she gave a kiss on the cheek ,"so you don't want to be in a relationship with me and you do stuff like this " I whispered in her ear, "whatever I'll call you" she said then we left.
Tamila's pov
I close the door and turned around, "you like him don't you"Tori asked "maybe" I said "so why do you keep brushing him off" she said "l don't know" I replied "this is about dad isn't it" Tailya asked "mama, Daniel's a good man and its obvious that he likes you, you need to let all that stuff you went trough with dad go and start over, I really think you should give Daniel a chance" Tori said "you know what I think your right" I said "I know I'm right " she said "ok you guys go get cleaned up and come down for dinner" I told them, we ate dinner and then watched a movie and then it was time for bed I went to go take a shower, when I walked out of the bathroom I saw all four of them on my bed, "why are yall on my bed " I asked "can we sleep with you " they asked "😒" --- "please mama" they begged " ok come on we have church in the morning" I said "good night mama"--- " goodnight" I replied giving them a kiss on there foreheads and then we went to sleep.
