No One's POV

Eclipse finally rose and the clan had calmed down from the fight that happened. The clan members were all in their homes as night patrol took their places.

Neteyam woke up, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and looked around. He was in Mali'kis bed. Her home. Her arms. Neteyam noticed that the girl was behind him, her body curled around his as her arm was draped over his waist. He was the little spoon.

He chuckled softly and turned his body around to face the girl. He stared at her sleeping figure. The way her body was relaxed, her tail flicking every now and then, her soft breathing, a little crease in her forehead. He was definitely awestruck.

Lightly tracing her face to ease the crease, she shifted and leaned more into his warm lingering touch. "Neteyam" she mumbled sleepily as she stayed asleep, he chuckled and kept tracing her facial features.

Neteyam felt at peace. He felt safe in the presence of Mali'ki. He felt the need to protect her, care for her, comfort her, and most importantly to love her. To heal her broken pieces. He felt his heart pick up at the sight of the girl. She was just so mesmerizing to him.

Neteyam planted a soft kiss on her forehead and she opened her green eyes, sleep evident in them. "What was that for Netty?" She asked softly as he looked at her, "just- because" he mumbled as she smiled and giggled.

"Your a weirdo Netty" she mumbled and readjusted herself, "Mali we have to tell my parents what you felt" he reminded her, she sighed heavily and simply just nodded her head. Neteyam pulled her out of bed with him and they both headed out to his family home.

The clan was quiet except for the small chatter here and there and the sound of fire crackling.

Once they arrived at Neteyam's home, they walked in and noticed the tense atmosphere. "Mother, father.. Mali'ki needs to tell you something about the sky people situation" Neteyam spoke and Jake nodded his head, motioning for the girl to take a seat.

Mali'ki sat down, her nerves immediately shifting, she inhaled softly "I could feel the animals dying.. their pain. I could feel the forest dying.." her words startled Neytiri and Jake.

"Are you sure about this? Is this even the truth? Are you sure it wasn't a nightmare?" Jake questioned a little skeptical to believe her, Neytiri stared wide eyed at the girl and tried processing her words. Mali'ki looked at the two and knew they didn't believe her, "I am sure of this.. your son held me as my skin burned and as every harsh, painful, agonizing cry left my body!" Mali'ki snapped, Neteyam and his siblings stared at her.

Jake and Neytiri didn't know what to say, Mali'ki stood abruptly "I want to go back home. I do not belong here amongst your clan. Tomorrow or soon, please announce that I will be leaving and no longer am part of this clan or I will leave myself" she stated as tears prickled her green eyes, before anybody could stop her, Mali'ki left the home.

She went to the opening of the mountains and called out to her dragon, Khaos. It was a lost hope because her dragon was across the horizon but she hoped that Khaos would hear and would be near somewhere.

Neteyam and his family ran after Mali'ki and watched as she stood there, calling out, her body was rigid and they could tell by her figure that she was shaking. Soon enough a huge white dragon appeared and Mali'ki immediately mounted its back and they took off.

"What the hell" Jake muttered as more questions filled his head as he saw the girl leave on a huge dragon, it was bigger than Toruk.

Jake and Neytiri immediately went to Mo'at and told her what Mali'ki had said. Neteyam and his siblings went back home and were quiet. The silence was filled with questions that no one knew the answers to.
