The Blinds - DC

She tells me, "family comes first"/
She doesn't know the hurt/
I've been an outcast since birth/
Never accepted, never included/
Try my best to not seem new/
Even to the bullies at school, I was something to be used/
A fake. A fraud. A Ruse/
A man with no clue/
The worst kinda loser to lose/
When I fell for you, I didn't know you'd use me too/
Make fun of me when All I did was love you/

Hurt me when I needed you most/
Left me to burn with words that scorn the host/
I've tried being patient and loving through your eyes/
God knows, I tried to hide behind this disguise/
Telling you all these lies/
Thinking you were mine/
I was so blind/
You had someone on the side/
And I was just alone for the ride/
Left me with mountains to climb/
Damage to seek and find/
Always toxic, never kind/
Yeah, I miss you, but I know you'll be fine/
You always were the mastermind/
Stealing my light so it couldn't shine/
Leaving me In the dark, searching for a shrine//)
