Our Lovely Demise

I feel like god blowing up his greatest creation/
all for thier sins and unworthy transgressions/
greed destroys the meek, like we shred these guitar sessions/

I've found my hand on the trigger/
praying it'll make my name bigger/
feeling like kayne before he wrote gold digger/
giving the world the middle finger/

cause we have a reason to die/
all humanity does is live this lie/
pollute until global warming consumes our high/
has people asking god why?/

but it was our careless that screwed it up/
sides off the road spread with cigs and red cups/
should we be penalized for making the mistake of saying "sup"/

it's hard enough with the murders/
and the hackers playing games with federal servers/
peeping toms get wrongly accused for looking wrong at a minor: observers/

people post porn but don't understand the significance of what they've done/
why do we make our own tons/
they say people kill people, but why do we have martial arts, if people carry guns/
one shot, two shot, three, and the shooter  is on the run/

people break the laws, but when cops do it they away with the shit/
tazers and pepper spray, guns should be a last resort, but they still reach for it/
emotions turn to rape, kissing leads to a bad decisions to why get your clothes ripped/

we will be our own lovely demise.
asteroids and tidal waves won't be our cure.
we will be our downfall and our rise.
yeah, that's for sure.
