His wings puffed up, shaking the water off them. Standing under the warm waters of the blessed falls, L shook his hair out of his face, when it was wet all the fluff of it flattened out and revealed how long his hair actually was. Reaching down to his shoulders.

By now, L was used to wings and flying. When he first grew them he'd often lean back against chairs forgetting they were there and squish them. Or walk through tight spaces forgetting to fold his wings in and whack them against the walls. But now, he knew his way around wings. He knew how delicate the bones could be but how string the muscle was, he knew to be careful with them. He knew very well how sensitive wings could be, especially around the base where they connected to his back.

When wet, the feathers would flatten out and needed to be puffed back up again to fly with. L spread his wings out, shaking the water off and stepped out of the waterfalls. Over by the mirror he looked at his reflection, it was a bit strange seeing the exact same face he had all those years ago. He hadn't aged, gods didn't. His hair had gotten a bit longer, his eyebags were still there but I'm a slightly lighter shade from getting a bit more sleep and his shoulders and upper arms were a little more toned, as wings connected to those muscles and flying was a bit of a work out. But his skin, height, bone structure and so on was all the same.

He'd forever look like his 25 year old self, which was probably a good thing. He couldn't imagine himself old and grey, his black hair was too iconic for him to kiss goodbye.

"There you are"

He turned to face your voice, finding you looking like you'd just woken up. Hair slightly messed up and only half dressed.

"Good morning" he replied.

"Good morning my darling" you smiled, placing a kiss on his cheek.

"You slept in"

"Food coma, that dinner was so good"

Sitting at the vanity by the mirror, you picked up your hairbrush and began to pull the tangles from your hair. L picked up a towel, drying the water from his hair.

"Let me do your hair, I got new ribbons" you said.

"Sure, you're better at hair than I am" L replied.

This was a typical morning for you, get ready together in your chambers and head out to get breakfast. Sometimes you'd make it yourself, sometimes you'd go visit one of the other gods who ruled over food and agriculture for a meal. They loved cooking for the others, and they made amazing dishes everyone loved. From there you'd carry out any tasks you had to do that day, and by afternoon you could do what you liked.

Hanging up along a golden rack, we're all your robes. Togas, chitons, kimonos, dress and kilts. Several selections in various colours and patterns. L often defaulted to the classic one shoulder, white chiton. Just like as a human he'd default to blue jeans and a white shirt. He wrapped it around his body, over his shoulder and held it together with a golden belt.

"Sit, let me play salon" you said, gesturing to the vanity.

He sat before the vanity mirror and watched you mess around with his hair. He always liked the feeling of you running your fingers through his hair, it was relaxing. Like a cat getting head scratches, he found it soothing.

"You should keep it this length, you look good" you said.

"I like it, there's more you can do with it" he replied.

Taking some golden ribbon, you wove it through his hair in two plats at the sides and pulled them around his head together at the back. Securing it with a bow. Resting his laurel on top, he was ready for the day.
